I am writing to report an issue with a duplicate charge on a recent McDonald’s mobile order.

I placed an order through the McDonald’s app for my father-in-law to pick up. The order was paid for in the app, approved, and my card was charged—otherwise the order would not have gone through. When my father-in-law arrived at the restaurant, the order was ready; however, the male manager insisted the order had not been paid for.

While my father-in-law was at the counter, I called the restaurant and was told that the payment did not go through. I found this hard to believe, as my card had already been charged and the app showed the order as approved. Still, to avoid any issues and giving the manager the benefit of the doubt, my father-in-law paid for the order again in store.

After the second payment, the manager laughed and stated that the original app payment was “pending,” that there was an error on my end, and that the money would be refunded to my account. He also stated, “I get nothing from lying to you.”

However, the original charge was never refunded. As a result, I was charged twice for the same order.

I am requesting a refund for the duplicate charge as soon as possible. I am happy to provide receipts, screenshots, or any additional information needed to resolve this matter.

Thank you for your attention. I look forward to this being resolved promptly.

Absolutely the worst customer service through the drive thru. Pull up to one of the two ordering points and they told me to wait. Waited for 3-4 minutes then a car pulled up to the other drive thru ordering points and started ordering immediately. When I walked inside the store to order from kiosk the workers inside was laughing about how I had to drive around. I’m done getting food from this McDonald’s, I rather drive out of my way to go to a different one to get better customer service.

I was just there. I ordered a lg #1 I saw on the screen it said medium I told the person I said lg , she said she’ll correct it. I get to the window the give me a medium fry I told them I ordered a lg and the person on the microphone said they would correct it they took the fried poured them in a lg container I gave them back to me. Now tell me is this a lg fry?? Horrible customer service!! I even told them I would pay . They gave me this. I will Never Eat McDonald’s again!! Expensive!! Bad service just don’t care!!!

HORRIBLE MCDONLDS!!!!!! all I needed was a damn bag of ice and I didn’t receive it after 15 mins of waiting!!!! Like whatttt did they go to Antarctica and hand carve some ice??? It should not take that damn long for 1 bag of ice…. I was so irritated at the staff I just left after 15 mins waiting for 1 bag of ice!!! Also I asked nicely and the lady looks me up and down and starts talking shit in Spanish!! HELLLLLLLO???? I’m a manger at Mcdonlds and I was so disappointed!

I have ordered several times an Oreo McFlurry and EVRY SINGLE TIME I get an M&M McFlurry, my child HATES M&Ms! It doesn’t matter if it’s DoorDash, order pick up or through the drive thru! I also order Diet Soda and they give me regular soda all the time so I’m constantly dumping it out since I can’t have regular soda!

Making this review because a woman named Clara hung up the phone when I was asking if I would be able to get a receipt reprinted.

When I called back a gentleman named Guillermo answered, explained to me my order. He was nice, helpful, and respectful.

More accommodating to srvc internet orders vs. In-store customers. Waited *11* minutes to TRY to pay for and receive 1 beverage.. of which I NEVER received because I LEFT after waiting 11 minutes for a soda Should be 1 employee on register at all times to receive payments. Another gentleman left because of the same thing.

This is one of my favorite McDonald’s location. The staff are always nice and friendly. The food is always hot and fresh. The dine in area is always so neat and clean. One staff member named Christopher is always so friendly. The Mocha Frappe with Carmel topping is my favorite drink!
