In the sterile fluorescence of a McDonald’s on Biesterfield Road, I partook in a midday meal: a double cheeseburger, medium fries, and an apple pie. Each item, a testament to humanity’s pursuit of comfort amidst the chaos of existence.
The double cheeseburger, with its dual patties and molten cheese, symbolizes our relentless desire for more—more sustenance, more satisfaction, more meaning. Yet, in its consumption, we find only a fleeting respite from the void.
The fries, golden and uniform, are crisp exteriors encasing soft interiors, much like the facades we present to the world, hiding our vulnerabilities within. Their saltiness mirrors the tears shed in solitude, unnoticed by the bustling world around us.
The apple pie, encased in a blistering crust, offers a sweetness that contrasts the bitterness of reality. Its warmth is a fleeting embrace, a reminder of comforts long past and perhaps imagined.
However, the absence of a self-serve soda machine is a stark reminder of our diminishing agency. Once, we controlled the flow of our beverages; now, we must request them, a subtle shift that echoes the broader erosion of autonomy in modern society.

Been stopping at this McDonald’s for breakfast on my way to work for a while now and the service keeps getting worse the longer I’m there. They’re always slow but today they completely screwed up my order after making me wait 12 minutes. They clearly had a new girl on the drive-thru who was just clearly out of her depth. 3/1/25, ordered an iced unsweetened lemonade tea. However, when I looked at my drink, I noticed something black inside. Upon opening the lid to inspect it more closely, I found that an unidentified object was frozen with the ice, and there was black residue around it. It was extremely disgusting and I couldn’t bring myself to drink it, so I had to throw it away.
This was a very disappointing experience, and I am concerned about the cleanliness and quality control at this location. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and ensure that such issues are prevented in the future.

so me and my friend went and
got fries and chicken nuggets, and the fries were HORRIBLE cold soggy gross and I am literally not that person. I never complain like genuinely but they were so bad so we got back in line and i said it in the nicest way possible like telling them the fries were so bad and we get to the second window and this women hands us a bag no context and i took it like thinking it was the fries, it wasnt and I gave it back and this women goes “WHY DID U TAKE IT THEN”. Absolutely so rude for no reason

Went to McDonalds to get my daughter a happy meal toy while I ordered a few burgers. Was told no and they will not sell me just a toy when in fact we do it all the time at different McDonalds. So now I have a crying kid because Juanito the manager is lying to me. I have been doing this since my oldest son was a baby and remember doing this when I was younger. It’s literally a plastic 2 dollar toy that makes my daughter happy. Hope your happy that you made a kid cry because your having a bad day. Such crap when I donate to the Ronald McDonald house every time we stop.

I left after waiting for my food so long this morning that they made me late for work. Never got my food. Management can refund my order. The card is under this name.
Update: no refund was received. I’m not calling you to get a refund you can just refund my card.

I came through the drive-thru today around 9:35 AM, and the female employee working was very unprofessional and rude. I visit this McDonald’s almost every day, and it was disappointing to be treated with such attitude. If she was having a bad day, it shouldn’t be taken out on customers. I understand the pay may not always feel fair, but at the end of the day this is still her job and good customer service is expected

Update I missed a call from the corp office. I called them back and left a message. No one ever called back. So this Mc Donald’s stole from me. They are constantly getting my whole order wrong if they don’t understand what I’m saying to them through the speaker then they should say they don’t understand me instead of just guessing what I’m saying and getting things wrong. I had to pour out my coffee cause it’s unsinkable. So thanks for waiting my money
