We have been traveling for a week. We have had several fast food meals. The food at this McDonald’s was our favorite. The burger was fresh , juicy and very tasty. I don’t know if it’s because it’s Montana beef or what but it was the best we have had all week.

I hate to post anything that is negative but unfortunately the McDonald’s in Deer Lodge was not a great experience. Most of the problem was due to severe understaffing and the age representation of the crew. Waiting 40 min in drive thru for a smoothie at 8 pm is a little much, inside 2as no better, the lobby was dirty, bathroom worse and the wait was crazy with a line of people waiting for food, 4 crew members working and no one moving faster than a sloth. Management was not showing it’s face and the young crew were left looking around for direction and really no basic training. Food was cold and greasy and my smoothie was runny. Not going back.

Ordered a breakfast burrito thing…it was the saddest most disgusting thing I paid over $3 for. I get that it’s fast food, but Taco Bell has a way better breakfast burrito typically for less $. This one was gone in 3 bites and tasted like liquid cheese with a couple bites of mystery meat in a tortilla. Would like to see more egg, real cheese and veggies in there and less cheese whiz.

Heather wasn’t so friendly to me but she was to others. She seemed to be more concerned about giving someone she knows (by calling them) their ice cream because they left it. Everyone else received a hello and a thank you. I received a stare and an umm hmm. Food was hot !
