Never been to a slower McDonald’s in my life. Even in airports, internationally, locally, etc. For 20-30 min wait regardless of inside or drive thru you may as well hit a sit down place. Its not just when its busy, seems to be extremely slow at all times. Food is fine just takes FOREVER to get through a “fast” food place.

Struggled with ordering the food as it was first time with noone to take order. Took a long time to get the food. The food was cold. Ordered a meal with an extra shamrock shake, and did not get the pop. The shake was good.

Good service won’t happen for 30% of you, summer or winter from the other reviews.
It’s negative temps, they would rather send their employees outside to deliver your food to your vehicle after losing 8 cars they’ve “pulled ahead”. So if ya just wanted a quick coffee in the drive thru, forget it! You’ll wait an additional 15 minutes and watch some employees walking around in the cold trying to find you.
Then if you are crazy enough to think any managers give an dang about your complaints they are just going to smirk and give you hollow apologies. Turn their back and walk away cuz they are so chronically used to getting complained to by customers.
The fact that they are being told to pull people ahead and hold them hostage to their order while waiting is ridiculous. That pissed me off being told to pull ahead for a coffee beverage. Then 15 minutes later I went inside. If I wanted to get out of my car and go inside I wouldn’t have ordered to pick up in the drive thru!
Everyone hates being asked to pull ahead unless it’s a wait for fresh chicken fried.
But 15 additional minutes for coffee is ridiculous! And to send employees outside into the absolute frigid conditions is bananas! Literally it’s warmer in the Antarctic today than it is here in Fargo.
And then to not even be offered a free coffee for my next visit and asked for a second try in the hopes that their performance will be better next time is absolutely dismissive of a completely legitimate complaint. (Appears this location has numerous of this same or similar complaint)
I will not be back to this location. I’m pretty sure it is my first time to this location and I have my favorite McDs in North Fargo and they have NEVER made a customer wait 15 for coffee even when they ran out and had to brew fresh quickly it was four minutes tops. And they were nice and they’d give you a free coffee for the long wait. Not this location in South Fargo.
Think you’ll save time ordering in the app… not at this location.
This location makes you pull ahead and uses the excuse that if they didn’t pull you ahead the next guy behind you will be mad cuz they had to wait longer. How long does coffee take?
It takes at this location:
15minutes and one swift get out of our way we don’t care if you ever come back we got other people to pretend disappoint behind you and now they are gonna be mad cuz you took two minutes of the manager’s time.
Basically they just expect to piss off or let down about 30% of their customers daily. And they couldn’t care less cuz they have a busy location. They don’t need your money, repeat business or your concerns. They are ready to let down more customers right behind you and smile while they do it.
Oh and even the drive thru person was frustrated on the speaker. You could hear it. Tone of voice and a tish attitude but not intolerable or directed at the customer but definitely chaos in that kitchen.
But hey at least they smile and hand out free fake apologies once they are done completely disappointing you.

Their manager is completely unprofessional and a joke. Handled situations very unprofessionally , maybe due to her age? But not impressed at all. They messed up orders and wanted to argue back and forth even when I offered to go out of my way. This is why she’s JUST a McDonald’s manager & nothing more in life

Whenever you order here it’s almost like they are surprised you ordered a cheeseburger or chicken nuggets. It takes so incredibly long for them to produce the products that they are very famously known for having. Two times in a row I’ve been in the drive thru for 30 minutes.

Twice in a row going there for supper I’ve waited 20+ minutes for my order and they’ve missed an item each time. You’d figure with 20-30 minutes to prepare my order, they’d have time to get it right. Of course, there’s no way to complain online, you’ll need to call the store, hope somebody answers and hope your coupon they offer actually shows up in the mail 6 weeks later. I only order online so a paper coupon doesn’t do me much good.

Was in for 2 unsweetened teas. Everything moved behind the counter so couldn’t just pay and move on like every mcdonalds that refused to follow that ridiculous recommendation. Gave up on my 2 sweet teas after 20 minutes. Watched the fancy robot drink filler grab nothing then rotate, dump ice down the drain, then rotate and dump soda down the drain only about 13 times while I was waiting.
Staff looks totally defeated and drained. This McDonalds needs new ownership and new management. A shame.

I like McDonald’s but they are so automated that nobody is at the counter and you have to stand there to get someone to help you. My order was missing 3 things and I had to wait to get the missing items which they did promptly. There were only napkins in the happy meals and you have to request ketchup if you want any. I had to make 3 trips to the counter. This was the McDonalds off Veterans Boulevard in Fargo , not one I usually go to and one I probably won’t go back to. I have no complaints about the food

The employees are horrible never pay attention to customers orders always handing customers the wrong orders. There is more chat chat with each other’s than paying attention to customers, with bad mean attitude on their faces, they never greets or say thank you to customers. I order number 5 breakfast they give me number 4 I went back and show my receipt the girl came back with number 4 again instead of number 5. They are not paying attention to customers orders but talking to each other’s, many people have been complaining about the McDonald’s on 23rd ave S. I have to go to different McDonald’s to buy another food. This is my 3rd bad experience with the McDonald’s on 23rd. They use to have great employees but now they just hiring anyone. I will never come go back there again. Very disappointed look at the cheese. This happened today July,12,2022 at 8:29 I came to different McDonald’s on 19th ave SW and they give me the right food with good manners.as you can see the 2 pictures the first one was from 23rd ave s wrong order and the second one was from 19th ave SW perfect and fast.
