I don’t usually leave this bad of a review on a restaurant, but the service at this one, especially at night is awful. I walked into the restaurant and stood at the front counter for at least four minutes before having to yell To get someone’s attention. I was able to snap this picture of employees just playing on their phones and talking to each other. This was not the first time I was at this location and seen terrible service. Also spent literally 12 minutes in the drive-through one night waiting for food why the manager was outside talking on his phone on speaker arguing with someone. Granted he was probably on break, which is fine but this conversation that was on speakerphone so the whole world could hear was inappropriate for anyone let alone a manager to be having in front of the restaurant. I do not know if this is the store manager or just a shift manager or something.

I have never had any issues here. I placed a mobile order and it clearly stated paid. They at first couldn’t find my order. Then told me it wasn’t paid for. I showed them the confirmation of payment plus my bank account pulling the order. The guy told me it was unpaid and I had to pay it. I told him again, I already paid for it and showed him my account AGAIN. He said once again I had to pay and it was unpaid. I told him never mind and to just cancel it because I was NOT going to pay a 2nd time. Funny how I got a notification that my order was canceled and I’ll be refunded.

I use the drive-thru at McDonald’s to get a snack; I often need to wait at Walgreens. Good and conveniencei is BP. BP has great car wash. My dogs love going through Drive Thru. Hamburgers are salty, extremely expensive, and of poor quality food with smaller portions. I make the drive and go to KwikTrip instead..

As a DoorDasher ALL of fast food is a disgrace of what it once was, and this store is no exception. While it’s not as bad as the McDonald’s on Sheridan on the Southside, it’s pretty bad. No one, and I mean NO ONE moves worth a sense of purpose anymore. I literally just watched a guy wait 7 minutes for one sandwich and fries. How is any of this acceptable?

Horrible McDonald’s. Avoid this one! Went there last week with my parents while driving through the city. After we placed our order and were waiting for the food, I saw them bring it out on a tray, then back into the kitchen where they literally threw most of it in a bag. The manager / supervisor then came out and told everyone in the restaurant that we all had to leave immediately because they were closing early and he didn’t have time to let anyone know ahead of time. NO signs on the doors, no staff informing people of the early closure, no nothing. Then told another 7 or so people in line that they were taking no more orders and they had to leave also. They also kicked out a family of 7 or 8 that they had just served food to 1 minute earlier. That family had no idea what they were going to do with their food. The manager / supervisor then tells my 79-year-old handicapped father who uses a walker that we can’t go out the north door where the handicapped parking is, and that he’d have to walk around the entire restaurant on the ice to get back to our car. This manager / supervisor should not be in a leadership position as they seem to have no ability to deal with situations, no customer service ability and can’t make good decisions. I then filed a complaint with McDonald’s corporate and found out that the store responded to corporate telling them that they had called me and spoken to me by phone…which they had not. This store completely lied to corporate by telling them that they had dealt with the complaint. Whomever owns this McDonald’s needs to make some major staffing changes as they are being lied to by their staff.
…and I’ve already contacted McDonald’s about this via feedback and filed a report. Your manager lied and told customer care that they called me…which they never did. I wonder how many other complaints they never dealt with but said that they did…

Today, November 15, 2025, at 5:09pm I placed an online order using an app exclusive deal. The order went through and I was charged. I went inside to get it and they said it never went into their system. The manager, who’s name I don’t know because he wasn’t wearing a name tag, who absolutely should not be an employee, and definitely 100% not be a manager either, tells me to place the order again. I asked what about the money I was already charged? He said that at the end of the day when the order isn’t processed through their system, I’ll get a refund. So I didn’t get a refund, I didn’t get my order and I couldn’t reorder it because the deal is only a 1x a day deal. Did he offer to let me order it right there without the app when I told him I couldn’t, no. When I asked him what I should do, he just walked away. If you don’t want to be scammed or have your money stolen, then avoid this location. Ive ordered through the app for McDonald’s(at other locations) and other places and I have never had this issue. And then to steal from me is diabolical. I’ll be contacting my bank to solve this and McDonald’s corporate to see what they can do for their manager and app ruining my day.

I ordered 2 of the same sandwich. One had burnt meat and the other had a burnt bun. Both tasted gross. Wouldn’t recommend, BK is across the street and superior.

Food was very good as was the service. Was not very busy so I think it was made fresh. I am not a big fan of fast food as too many don’t care for the equipment and cooking oils properly. Had 5 grandkids with us is why we stopped. The person operating the register had a disability but did great. Kudos to you for hiring them.
