My son lost his video game in this McDonald’s on 1/4/26. This was an incredibly busy day. I never thought he would see the game again. I went back two hours later on the off chance that may be someone may have turned it in, but never expecting to get it back. Imagine my surprise when a wonderful angel by the name of Jacob Informed me that he had indeed found the game and turned it into his manager. The manager happily handed the game to me and both employees refused any type of reward or compensation. I am speechless that there are still wonderful, kind and honest people in this world. In a world of Karen’s, how about being a Jacob instead? This is one phenomenal young man. Thank you Jacob!

I only go to McDonald’s a few times a year, mostly at airports. Compare to my last experience at Seattle airport, this place seemed under staffed, and you can’t see any enthusiasm from the employees. They are busy, but they are not that fast. The food was brought out in batches, but they are not very hot. They could put the kiosk near the outside of the store if that’s possible, so many people are waiting in that area. This is a Sunday afternoon and the airport it’s not that busy.

Got a double quarter pounder with cheese and it’s decently priced, for 8 $
Ordering was possible through the kiosks and staff was delivering orders like crazy, overall it was ready in a few minutes, there were people waiting in line so that’s definitely “fast food”.
The Burger itself wasn’t really good, with plenty of meat the patty itself was quite bland overall.
The area wasn’t clean and people had to clean it themselves, not surprising how busy it was.
All the cold desserts were not available as well

This is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to in my entire life, 45 minutes to get my order which, by the way, was missing items that I paid to add, detail, my order disappeared. Detail in the photo was supposed to be a double burger and lettuce

If your flight is close to boarding skip this McDonalds. extremely long waiting. bad service. This is a money trap. I waited 40min to get a burger, drink, and small fries and it was not busy compared to other McDonald elsewhere.

The food was stale, moldy, and under-cooked. The staff was very rude and put bacon on a burger that wasn’t supposed to. The floor had trash, trash, trash, and even more trash. In the back I saw the fryer had fry’s laying everywhere. Definitely not coming back

There’s no reason than to give this Micky D’s a solid 4 stars. Easy. I know the menu. Well situation. It is at the beginning of Terminal A. Fast and efficient. I know I can afford it. Get your condiments to the left. If you have an app, you can order ahead of the line. The line can stretch into the terminal but it goes fast. I appreciated there being a nice place for me to sit and relax a few minutes before squeezing into the tin can they call an airplane nowadays.
I ordered a sausage McMuffin with cheese meal and a small coffee for $8.14 USD. I put the coffee in my thermos for the flight home. The breakfast sandwich a solid 8 out of 10. The muffin was a bit chewy and the sausage could have been hotter. The cheese was melty which was terrific. I think most people would think it perfectly good. But I’ve had better. For the best McDonald’s I’ve ever been to, visit my Anchorage McDonald’s review. Amazing.

Their employees don’t wash their hands after using the bathroom. After your employee was done at the urinal, I watched him walk right out… hope he didn’t pee on his hand. Anyway, he is white and has a long ponytail (rat tail should be in hair net at least), that shouldn’t be too hard to figure out who it is. Do you not give your employees more than one uniform? Because it doesn’t look like anyone washes their clothes or has adequate hygiene sadly. I’m surprised that no one has made any complaints to the health department. Every other review commenting about crappy service and inconsistent food service is true.

I don’t know what this McDonald’s is trying to serve, but it sure isn’t food. The fries were stone cold and tasted like actual cardboard—zero flavor, zero crunch, just sad, limp sticks of disappointment. The burger? Burnt beyond recognition, with a taste that can only be described as charred garbage. I’ve eaten at plenty of McDonald’s before, and while it’s never gourmet, at least there’s usually some taste. Here, it was the absolute worst McDonald’s meal I’ve ever had—like they went out of their way to ruin every single item.
If you’re thinking of eating here, don’t. Save your money, save your stomach, and go literally anywhere else.

I actually really like the McDonald’s at DTW, because unlike most airport McDonald’s, the price hike isn’t that bad. Probably due to the reasonable pricing, the line tends to be quite long, no matter what hour of the day it is. Once you do get your order placed, the food service speed is very reasonable. Another highlight of this airport McDonald’s is that the fountain drink is self-serve, like a normal McDonald’s. That means unlimited refills unlike some airport locations that doesn’t allow refills. The seating area is small, but the workers seems to always keep the area tidy whenever I’ve stopped through. Really one of the best airport McDonald’s in the country.
