Managed to get every ingredient I didn’t ask for on the burger, forgot food I payed for, and then gave me a McBread, I ordered a mcchicken but how is there no chicken in the patty? This location is terrible

I am very pleased with my service today as me and my children went through the drive through. The gentleman taking the order in the drive through was very kind. We had a small issue with the order where we had the wrong ingredients on the burger we ordered and the manager Daq was so polite and friendly making sure she corrected it really quickly and efficiently. She smiled at the kids and had a positive attitude. The other employees were also very friendly I observed during the busy time they kept calm but worked fast and as a team. The food was nice and hot especially the fry’s and that’s when they taste the best. Because of the kindness of the management and the positivity all around I will definitely go to this McDonald’s opposed to any other.

Disappointed with this trip. Not very busy at lunch time, but managed to not give me my fries with 2 of my meals. Caught that before I left and they didn’t seem to care. That location is usually really good. Hopefully it was just a one time thing.

I just came here at 2:20 a.m. on 02/22/26 after leaving the hospital to grab a bite on the way home and I wish I hadn’t. The black lady working the second window was rude. Never acknowledged us just too busy yelling to the back that they gone have to get a new card machine or some type of machine as she took the my payment card and handed it back with no receipt. We sat there for a few minutes so I’m thinking that the food was going to be fresh but it wasn’t. The fries were cold with way too much salt. I ordered a triple cheese and got a double cheese. It also was not hot and fresh. I should have taken a picture of the receipt and food like I normally do. I won’t be giving my money to this location ever again.

the black girl at the pick up window around 7:3? Pm absolutely does not belong there.. her demeanor and vocabulary was at number 1 for worst at best..I didn’t expect a conversation like we knew each other since birth but for working in customer service she belongs in the back so she doesn’t need to put any of her effort in anything but food

Hands down some of the best McDonald’s food I’ve tasted in a minute. Was passing through during prime dinner hours and this location was flawless. Plenty of (new) options on Franklin Ave. these days, don’t miss this McDonald’s when in Michigan City!

Out of the 10 times I’ve been here, I’d say 6 times I’ve received the wrong order. On top of that, I was charged for someone else’s order on top of my own order. How does that happen??

I’ve tried to go to this McDonald’s twice in the last year. I’m not a big fan of McDonald’s so I don’t go often, but on these two occasions I really wanted it. The first time I couldn’t get it because they were closed despite their hours saying they were open. Actually I drove to 3 McDonald’s locations. This one, the other one in Michigan City, and the one in New Buffalo. All 3 claimed to be open but all 3 were actually closed. Finally like a year later, today, I just wanted a vanilla shake after work. I pulled up to this location around 11:00pm. There was 1 single car in front of me. It took 7 minutes for them to tell that guy they would be with him shortly. About 3 minutes later he just drove off. The other line wasn’t moving at all either. So I pull up. She says the same thing to me, “we’ll be with you in just a moment.” After another 5 minutes of waiting I said screw it and pulled off as well. I’m just going to get food at the grocery store. I don’t have 15 minutes to wait to not even get my order taken and I can’t believe other people wanted McDonalds that badly to wait as well. The food is unhealthy and overpriced. The only 2 times I actually wanted to spend money with this business I couldn’t because they’re so dysfunctional that they can’t serve 3-4 cars in a 15 minute time span. They served 1 car in that time. The line moved up by one single car. They lost 2 cars worth of customers in that same time span. I’ve worked fast food and all other types of jobs. There’s 2 explanations. 1. They’re woefully understaffed and they just can’t keep up. 2. The more likely explanation, the workers literally couldn’t care less. They’re making the same money per hour whether they serve the customers or not. So why not just not serve them? The manager and owner clearly don’t care. Nothing will happen if they just lie about their hours and don’t serve customers so why bother doing it? Probably will never go to this location again. I’ll be happy if I never have McDonald’s again in my life honestly. So many better options out there

Every time you go through the drive thru, they make you pull into the curbside pick up spots and wait. And wait. And wait. Regardless of what you order – special grill or as ordered straight off the menu. They’re measured on speed through the drive thru so forcing customers to pull over just pads their metrics.
