Came here at 12:30 AM, and despite it being the middle of the night, staff was very personable and friendly. Food was hot and on point. Rosie was so sweet (in the drive-through), as was the big black guy who handed us our food. They had smiles on their face and were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we’re happy customers, customized our meals as requested. Highly recommended McDonald’s location and midnight staff. You’ll get great service and great smiles!

The people are friendly and the food is what you expect but this is the third time in 2 months I’ve not been given straws with the drinks or my sauces not in the bag and sure it wouldn’t be that big of a deal if it was like the sauce that comes with the order because it’s free but when I’m being charged for extras and then not receiving them multiple times on different occasions makes me question what else is going on in the store if they can’t even put straws or sauce in a bag. Do not leave this drive thru without checking your bag first!

This have to be the nastiest McDonald’s I ever been too. Why do the food look like this and why is my burger put together like a puzzle piece. Just nasty!!!!! Asked for NO ONIONS and we get a sandwich full of onions , that you see we had to scrap off and had onion sitting on top of the bun and all on the wrapper. Then it says sweet n sour & buffalo and i get 4 buffalo sauces. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN

I’ve been here numerous times. The stark comparison from night and day crew really is a flip. When you come here at night. The crew engages. They talk to you. They treat you like an actual human being. During the day. You’re a number. An order. A nuisance if nothing else. It’s crazy to not hear the crew engage with the customers “how’s your day?” “Have a good day” none of that. If y’all want customers to keep coming back. Have better attitudes. Be like Matthew on the night shift because those will be the only times I come back. He’s the only reason you aren’t getting ones across the board. Do better

I arrived here at McDonald’s on November 24, 2025 approximately 10 PM. I had to drive through. I was looking to get a quick meal on my way home after working 16 hours today on my feet and the Steel warehouse trying to bring home dinner to my family When I Man named D Angelo Fern In the drive-through intercom, he asked me what I’d be using the mobile app today. I said no he said OK and just left it silence in the air so I said OK just waiting on you like I’m supposed to know that it’s OK to order because he says OK I mean and then I try to proceed with my order and the Mad gets very ignorant belligerent has a very very bad attitude towards me so I said so you don’t belong in customer service have a great night and he proceeds to degrade me as I’m driving away from the drive-through so I pulled over to speak with management. AJ was a very, very nice man. Very very customer service oriented so was Rose Rose was also working the first window at this drive-through very very professional very customer service oriented they both cut both of them And this D’Angelo Fernandez guy. He does not belong to customer service job. I hope that you retrain him or you I don’t know if he’s even able to be retrained with the attitude that he displayed tonight but it was a very very very unsatisfactory experience with McDonald’s tonight on East Ridge Rd., Hobart, IN and Ripley route 51. I really hope that you guys get that man’s attitude under control because this is a lost customer.

Every time I ordered from this place they are always forgetting one thing out of the whole meal whether it is the sauces or my fries or even a cheeseburger there is always something missing, usually we call after to let them know but recently they blocked me & my phone number. And all I asked was for it not to happen again. I wasn’t rude. And the worst part is. ITS THE MANAGER APPARENTLY. Just rude.

So I was just here about an hour ago. I’m in line waiting for my order to be fixed from drive thru. Then I see this girl putting on the outfit to come to counter. Has to fetch the manager two times for separate people. She’s trying to help the guy in front of me and manger keeps trying to talk to her. She looks overwhelmed enough so I just get to the point when it comes my turn. She goes back, fetches manager again, and goes to bag orders and make drink. This girl looks like she’s on the verge of tears. She’s trying to do, like, four things at once. I wish I asked her name because I would’ve called and complained about the way they were treating her and other customers. All I know is that she has black hair. She was literally only good part about my service. Hope poor thing finds a better job who appreciates her hard work.

Went in late-ish last night with my family of 6. As you can imagine, we have a large order. Sure, we got pulled forward but it was only a few minutes. Everything was fresh. The employees were all kind. Much different than the McDonald’s a few miles further East in Portage. We went there two weeks ago, only ordered food for our kids and waited over 30 minutes for it, and they had RUDE employees all around. This location on Ridge is much much better!!!!!
