They up charged our drinks without asking. The service was not friendly at all. My family and I were pulled forward to wait for a full 30 minutes and staff was rude. The lady who was running the food out, was waiting until multiple orders were ready for the vehicles pulled forward. So we had to wait until the people behind us’s food was ready until we received ours. Upon finally receiving our food, the order was completely messed up. We were missing hashbrowns and an egg on my sausage egg and cheese McMuffin. The food that we did receive was cold. Overall TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service.

I’ve grown so tired of ordering my food in the drive thru, then being told to pull up and wait even longer for my food. Only then to look in the bag and see they gave me the completely wrong order. There are several fast food restaurants in Troy that can move people through a drive thru in a reasonable amount of time, AND get their order correct.
Specifics, 2/14/26 at 11:07 a.m. I ordered in the driver’s thru. There were 2 cars ahead of me. Received my food at 11:23. 16 minutes. Ordered a double quarter pounder meal, large fry. I got a 10 pc nugget with small fry.

Waited 10 min in the pull off lane and they still didn’t get the order right. Was waiting on a “well done” bagel and they didn’t even attempt to toast it. Shorted two hashbrowns. And they want $20 an hour to work here. What a joke.

i ordered ahead to have the convenience of my food being done by the time i got here. while i was at the speaker i told the lady for the pickup code, she then told me i needed to pay for it, i told her it should’ve been paid for and she cut me off. i went to the first window, asked for a rec and the lady huffed and puffed before handing it to me. i got to the second window and got my drink and then was told to be pulled around. my food should’ve been ready since i ordered it online, i waited 20 min to get everything.

I think there’s some confusion about the hours here. I went into the drive-thru at 4:30 am on a Saturday thinking it was open 24 hours as indicated by this listing. Nobody took my order. I drove up to the window and the sign said the drive thru was open at 5 am and said nothing about 24 hours. I gave you a 5 star review because I always love some McDonald’s and I get great service when I come to this location. Especially after getting off work at 4am.

I placed a mobile order at 10:43 and pulled up at 10:46 with cars receiving their food at the Troy, Ohio McDonalds. I waited for 5 minutes at the speaker before deciding to go around the building and try the other speaker. After waiting a couple of minutes there, I decided to pull up to the window where payment it taken. I watched as 3 employees walked pass without giving me a second glance. I decided to pull up to the window where food is received and after a couple of minutes someone came to the window and I told them I had a mobile order. She looked at me like I was stupid and said they didn’t have a mobile order. I showed it to her on my phone and informed her that I had been waiting there 10+ minutes and she then decided to tell me they were closed at 10:57. When I said that you close in 3 minutes she responded with a heavy attitude saying “manager said we’re closed.” I do not appreciate being disrespected and my time waisted. Food was being served when I entered the drive thru line, there is no reason my order should not of been taken or at least be informed you closed early.

We went in the drive thru, ordered 2 double cheeseburgers 1with mustard only, 1with onion and mayo. 1single cheeseburger. Our doubles had mustard, catsup, pickles. This was terrible. We were not going to drive back to Troy. Why waste gas? They couldn’t get our order right the first time. They need people in there who knows what they are doing. I tried to call and the line was busy even 2hours later. They knew they messed up our order because they apologized when they brought the wrong one out to us. We threw the food in the trash. That’s where it belonged.

Got our food at 7:30 so we waited over 30 minutes for food and nobody asked us if we had our food yet as we were the first car waiting in the drive through. And then once we got the food the ingredients on the burgers were wrong. All we got was 2 burgers and 2 fries not a complicated order

I don’t normally do reviews but I have noticed the last few times that I have come hear that it doesn’t matter what you get you end up pulling up and waiting with the sticker you get. The last time which was probably about a month ago. I can understand at busy times to try to manage the lines through the drive-thr but I guess this is a new practice now I would pretty much all orders because I absolutely do not understand why when they weren’t very busy and at 10:00 a.m. that I had to wait 10 minutes almost for just a coffee!! The top it off the coffee wasn’t even the way that I asked for and I didn’t ask for anything crazy just a caramel macchiato hot with liquid sugar that I paid for and a shot of espresso. I received a regular coffee it didn’t have sugar and barely had cream. This I just don’t understand!!!

Not from Troy and have never visited this McDonald’s before October 28 2025 , shortly after 5pm. I was very shocked how stale the fries were for as busy at it was. lol.
I can’t help but wonder when those fries were made and how much considering the traffic.
Once we got to the hotel we found our order to be wrong. We had ordered a quarter pounder with only cheese but instead got ketchup and pickles.
Luckily we are going back home and won’t have to deal with this McDonald’s again. Probably should’ve just went to skyline chili. lol
