Sometimes the food here is hot salty and delicious, and other times it is not. Sometimes the drive thru line is empty, but most times I visit it’s pretty long. Sometimes the line moves fast, other times it doesn’t. I think this is true of most McD’s, and as a life long fan I would say that this has been true for years and years. There does seem to be a god awful sewer or garbage stench outside of this location especially near the drive thru which is unfortunate not only for the customers but also for the employees who catch a whiff of that every time they open the window. Overall though it’s a nice, clean, and safe location where you can enjoy your cheesy beefies and french fries any time you want. I love McDonald’s so 5 stars from me!

So I’ve been going to this location for the last few weeks because of Monopoly being back. I have not had one good experience since. It all started when I ordered a sausage McMuffin and a hash brown, The guy turned around and rang it in as a sausage McMuffin with egg and also put my hash brown on there and when I corrected him he deleted the hash brown, fix the sandwich and then claimed I never ordered a hash brown. Then this morning I ordered two apple pies, he gave me one pumpkin pie, no mind you I ordered via the app this time, and they still couldn’t get it right. They had me pull forward in order to wait for the apple pie that they should have given me to begin with, they took over 15 minutes, I had to pull off and try to get their attention because this isn’t even the first time McDonald’s has had me pull forward and then deleted my order off their board, now after I had to pull around in order to try to get their attention they finally decided oh well what we can go out and try to give it to him through the other door. Then after 5 minutes of trying to get their attention after that I finally get my apple pie. and when I try to express how they need to read their stuff and actually learn to get the orders right because it’s not like they’re teenagers you know working after school this is 5:30 6:00 in the morning, this is when people are trying to go to work and the last thing they need is for The individuals working here to act as if they don’t have any brains and try to screw them over. No I highly doubt anything is actually ever going to get done because screw the customer right. And I understand nobody’s actually going to care enough to fully read this and hold them to account. And I get management doesn’t care about the customers. But if they lose even one sale because of this review I will be happy, well though I know that’s never going to actually happen.

Marvin was excellent. He made sure I had everything I needand my food was correct and hot. And he only maintenance and he does a better job than anyone in there. He deserves a promotion and a raise!!!!!

They have an issue with sewage smell. The entire parking lot AND the interior of the restaurant reeked of old mop water and backed up sewage. This has been an ongoing issue for awhile and nothing is ever done to correct it.
Food wise, it’s what you’d expect from McDonald’s. Service was fine, again what you’d expect from McDonald’s.

awful sewer smell in the drive thru for months if not years now that no one seems to want to address. staff gets rude and snippy very quickly when you have questions. it’s about as bad as any other mcdonald’s, really. you get what you pay for in service and in quality.

I will say the lady at the drive-through window where the food is handed out was incredibly rude. I simply asked we’re my condiments that I requested in the bag she said did you order them? I said yes ma’am and she said well they’re in the bag then and shut the window. Given the morning that I was having I could have given her the same energy that she was giving me, however, I decided not to because I was already in a hurry only to find out when I open my bag. My condiments were not in the bag. And I understand that this is just McDonald’s as many would say, however in this economy is a privilege to have a job so to take it for granted and be rude and disrespectful to people who are patronizing. Your establishment is just incredibly disheartening to see. I hope whoever owns this McDonald’s takes a good look at who is providing service in their establishment because the lady at the front of this window deserves to be reprimanded

Guys this is by far the best McDonald’s I have ever been to. I have only good things to say. Firstly, walking in, the restaurant (bathrooms included) was very clean. No tables were dirty and the drink area was clean. Secondly, The hospitality was on the next level. The staff greeted me as I walked in which is exceptional for fast food service especially a McDonald’s. There was a crowd of seniors sitting in each corner enjoying a coffee or a breakfast sandwich (something that’d be more common to a Culver’s). I also was given a free McDonald’s Baked Apple Pie. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Lita who I got to have a chat with and made my experience more than worth while. Lastly, for speed of service and order accuracy, my food was out before I even sat down and the Drive-Thru line seemed to be moving very quickly. I had everything correct on my order and loved my experience. Thank you McDonald’s Harrison Avenue for doing an outstanding job!

If I could I would give zero stars. Absolute mess. No one was even wearing a uniform behind the counter, hair down while making food. The cashier, also not in any type of uniform taking orders at the counter was incredibly rude to an older woman trying to use the app to make an order. Not helpful and just a terrible attitude. Also incredibly slow service. I ordered a Diet Coke and it took forever to even get the cup to fill myself.

I love this location. I order on doordash late at night and they come through with the frappes!!! Like whoever is making the food at this location needs a raise. I have never had bad food from here . The colerain Ave location next to northgate is trash. 40 min wait everytime. This McDonald’s will have your order ready in 5 minutes. The fries are always crispy. The frappes are so good. And you can trust them for being reliable at night.
