My wife and I decided to check out the “new” McDonald’s at the corner of Flowervale and Dixie Hwy. US31 in Valley Station, KY
Totally disappointed.
First the crew can’t see the counter when you walk up. I am old school, I like human interaction, plus, when was the last time someone sanitized the kiosk touchscreen?
After waiting about 3 – 4 minutes, a young lady walked up to the counter and cocked her head and looked at us like we were aliens. Finally my wife said she wanted a Big Mac combo. Now, understand there is NO menu board to select from. See picture. Once she took our order, not happily, she walked away. About 5 minutes later our food arrived at our table. No napkins or straws. So I sat out on an adventure to find straws and napkins. None to find. No condiments anywhere. Great cost cutting effort. But it took me another several minutes to get someone’s attention. I finally got napkins. Now my food is cold. The Big Mac was about an inch tall, the fries were old and chewy. Yes, I worked for McDonald’s and I know old fries and old cooking oil, these were both. The store is clean, should be, it is only 2 months old. We won’t be back. Sad

When I order a large mocha frappe with no whipped cream, add espresso, for the nine dollars I’m paying for my drink. Yes I’m going to get my drink made the way I ordered and paid. To the little girl who looked at me and said I don’t know, child grow up because I do know. For the money I pay you’re taking the drink back with whipped cream and fixing it. Going further in the future when I order I’m going to taste it right there. If you refuse to put the espresso in after I pay for the espresso shot then I’m going to give it back and I’m going to have it remade again. I’m going to quit accepting the garbage you hand me because you’re too lazy to do your job the right damn way.

If I could do zero stars I would. I will be visiting this week to speak to a GM or RM the service was horrible. I was mistreated by the manager Joey whom yelled at me in front of my two small children who are 4&5 and stated “not to come back”. I asked for a refund to which he denied to do that and handed me the food and walked away. I will be coming back to get a refund a place a formal complaint. This is not customer service this is cruelty and specially in front of my 2 small kids. All we asked for was 2 happy meals which ended up being handed to us rudely. When I left my daughter said “we will be coming back tomorrow and tomorrow, right mommy?” To which I responded sure!! I will never go back here again when there are 4 McDonald’s on Dixie but I will be coming back for a refund tomorrow without my kids and placing a formal complaint this is no way to treat paying customers especially after I asked for a refund. I just wanted to leave with my money and my integrity but I was denied.

If I could leave 0 I would. If I could go back and save myself the headache of this place, I would. Waited >20 minutes for my order of 4 things (1 sandwich, 1 pancake, 1 hash brown, 1 apple slices) rude old dark red haired woman at the window couldn’t even get out a hello or anything other than “pull up you’re back of the line”. Then watched not even kidding 15 cars get there food that ordered after me in the drive thru. Fast food? Nope. Good service? Never.

My order did take a little longer than usual, but I understand that sometimes it’s busy, but the customer service I had this night was one of the best customer service I’ve ever had. Everybody was so friendly, cheery, and happy and overall it was just an actual pleasing experience. I never thought that I would leave a review But this was just really outstanding customer service that I received and I did leave with a smile.

While I am not one to complain often, the speed of the afternoon workers leaves room to be desired. They failed to get our order right and required us to remind them several times. Not to mention the slow service.

Ordered through the drive-through after they skipped me in line and then was told to park and wait for chicken strips to be cooked. Sat over in the waiting area in my truck for over 10 minutes waiting for my order to be completed.

Slow as it gets plus they want everyone to pull up to a spot so their driveway timer score stays good it defeats the purpose if you only serve food on foot and not at the window they had the nerve to ask me to circle the parking lot to pull into a space because there was literally 8 other people waiting for their food I simply said make me and surprise surprise I got my food before every single other person waiting

I’m starting to hate this location around 8-10 pm, went there got a 6 peice nugget, 2 burgers, a large fry, and a large coke. I got 4 nuggets, 2 cold burger with hard buns, cold hard fry’s, only thing right was the coke. This has happen to me the last 5 times I’ve been to this location, oh but don’t worry the McDonald’s that they just built by the Thornton’s is just as bad, that location has never gotten my order right. Just good luck if you go there and make sure to check your order, like open up the wrapper and nugget boxes and look.
