If I could give them zero stars I would. I stopped buying coffee from this McDonald’s location years ago. I decided to try again just to see if I had any luck and Nope!!!! I couldn’t be any more displeased with their coffee. It was bad before but now it’s like they aren’t even using any coffee beens at all. I asked for an iced mocha with an extra shot of espresso. What they gave me and charged over $4 for was iced milk. Needless to say I should have just made my own coffee but I was in a rush and hopeful but thanks McDonald’s you ruined my day again. If I was a mean person I’d dump it out on the counter for waiting my time and money. There was a good reason why I stopped getting coffee at a McDonald’s Zero consistency Zero coffee Zero caffeine. Instead I will go to heinie brothers or starlight coffee or coffee crossing. Dennys drip brew is better. Any coffee is better don’t waist your money. I’ve had better coffee in a continental breakfast at a freakin days in. Just plain awful and I feel like I am owed at least $200 for all the coffee I ordered from them and threw out because it was milk.

They have a couple of good employees but the rest suck! Why have two drive through lanes if only one is ever taking orders? The wait time is horrible. They will hand you drinks that are overflowing. You actually have to stop them and ask for napkins. Good luck getting your drink clean. Messy in the car because of handing out spilled drinks with sticky sugar on them.

While the food at this location is decent and the speed of the service is acceptable, the experience is far from great. When I think of McDonalds, I remember going as a kid and the cashier was always standing behind the counter and would always say “I can help whoever is next” but at this location the servers are not available. There are papers on each register stating “Kiosk Only” and then if you want to pay in cash you have to push the help button on the kiosk and wait for someone to come over and help you which may take up to 10 minutes. The worst part of this experience is when I’ve seen elderly couples come in to place an order for a simple Sweet Tea and aren’t familiar with the kiosk so it takes them 15 minutes to place the order, and then when they finally get their tea, it is unsweetened. They take it back up and have to wait another three minutes to be recognized and then they get their Sweet Tea and it looks like someone watered it down. I have even heard some exclaim politely to the manager “Thank You, but just to let you know, we won’t be back!” To which the manager just smiles and waves as they leave.

For me however that’s not my worst experience. My worst experience is when I place my order for my meal on their app and either put in a table number or a curbside number and “relax as I wait for my order” (as the app tells me to do) for 15-20 minutes before going up to the counter (or inside) and asking about my order only to find that even though my order shows it was placed for this location and I have a order confirmation number, it is not in their system, so they have not even started preparing it. I know this is likely a system glitch, but I have experienced this more than a handful of times. The worst thing of all is, for my inconvenience or their app messing up the dozens of times it has, I am never offered anything other than the rare, “I’m sorry” if I am even lucky enough to get that. I have even been told my management, “I don’t know where that orders at, but it must be at a different store because we don’t have it.” Even after showing them the location where the order was placed is their store.

I think a lot of the issues with this location comes down to a language barrier. Of the 10+ employees that are on site at one time, about 2 of them speak English fluently enough to understand what people are ordering or how they can help when an issue arises. They do their best to understand what is being requested, but due to this barrier I rarely get a correct order when I do get my orders.

I would hope in the future that corporate takes this location over from the “Bells” that manage the location. In my experience, corporate locations always seem to better managed and better maintained than most franchised locations, including this one.

BEWARE!!! Attention customers , franchise owner, and potential workers!!
1) To the customers please don’t waste your time going here. By far the worst service McDonald’s in Louisville. They will mess up your order almost every time. Again, today I had to hand them the bag back tell them “ not my order”. They are priced higher than the other McDonald’s within a 5 mile radius which is either greed by this owner of this location or even worst they don’t care how much they charge over the others right down the street.
2) To franchise owner , I got to briefly meet the manager on duty that was rude and very unprofessional. Told me she was new to that location and that she had been a Shift Manager since 1992 and nothing would be done, if I complain to the Home office about the food always getting mixed up. I thought, it was laughable that someone would brag about being a Shift Manager at 55 or older. I was thinking that’s not a flex “Ms. Mcdonald”. I bet the reason she said it , because it’s true . No one will do anything to her or even talk to her about her attitude. I’m willing to bet her past store turn over rate is through the roof! I watched her yell and belittle the worker right in front of the customers , because they messed up. I really felt sorry for her employees, because some people just can’t quit when being treated poorly. .
3) To any worker that wants a job at this location , I would rethink it. You need to go to any other location , because clearly they have put someone in charge that won’t respect her people that work for her.

Breakfast order was received as both hash browns burnt beyond recognition, the egg bacon cheese biscuit had no bacon and the egg sausage cheese McGriddle had no egg. On the bright side, other than the cups being sticky, the orange juice was indeed orange juice. Understand it was near the end of the breakfast hours but still

Very unfortunate for McDonald’s that they would have to allow such poor customer service. I guess it’s just really hard to find help. I’m in town and visited McDonalds four times this week, two of those being this location. A lady with the name Lupia (may have spelling wrong) was so rude. I have a cheese allergy and she kept cutting me off when I wanted to say no cheese. She said you don’t have to keep telling me and said all she wanted was an order. She clearly was not handling her job well.

I came through just a bit ago at 4:38pm 6/12/25 and voiced how rude she was and the gentleman at the drive through said he was one of the managers and shrug his shoulders and said I can’t do anything about that, call corporate if I want. Can’t imagine this location is doing very well. The higher ups need to pay an unexpected visit for sure. We can only have better service and employees if it’s expected.

I ordered my food and get me back I come here and get breakfast just about every day. Sitting there waiting I have to look over and I watched a little short dude tattoos all over his arms making me a frappe anyway he’s making it sticks his finger in my drink and tasted it.that is gross why don’t they have gloves on. Well in this case don’t worry about the gloves the dude stuck his finger in my drink two times and tasted it.im about to lose it.put his finger in my drink and tasted it not once but twice,oh sheese what’s this world coming to ignorant people

DO NOT COME HERE IT IS A SCAM

Scam McDonald’s. Eat at your own risk. According to the manager they have had no carbonation in their drink machine for 2 weeks and not only do they not fix it and have no carbonated drinks, their owner and corporate specifically tell them not to inform customers about this before they order and threaten to fire them if they do. They also make the employees lie about it and act like they don’t know what’s going on at first. I asked for a new drink and they acted like they were shocked my drink was bad.

So you order in the drive thru by the time you taste your drink you’re gone and they got your money and you don’t have a drink. And they fight you for a refund too.
