For me however that’s not my worst experience. My worst experience is when I place my order for my meal on their app and either put in a table number or a curbside number and “relax as I wait for my order” (as the app tells me to do) for 15-20 minutes before going up to the counter (or inside) and asking about my order only to find that even though my order shows it was placed for this location and I have a order confirmation number, it is not in their system, so they have not even started preparing it. I know this is likely a system glitch, but I have experienced this more than a handful of times. The worst thing of all is, for my inconvenience or their app messing up the dozens of times it has, I am never offered anything other than the rare, “I’m sorry” if I am even lucky enough to get that. I have even been told my management, “I don’t know where that orders at, but it must be at a different store because we don’t have it.” Even after showing them the location where the order was placed is their store.
I think a lot of the issues with this location comes down to a language barrier. Of the 10+ employees that are on site at one time, about 2 of them speak English fluently enough to understand what people are ordering or how they can help when an issue arises. They do their best to understand what is being requested, but due to this barrier I rarely get a correct order when I do get my orders.
I would hope in the future that corporate takes this location over from the “Bells” that manage the location. In my experience, corporate locations always seem to better managed and better maintained than most franchised locations, including this one.
1) To the customers please don’t waste your time going here. By far the worst service McDonald’s in Louisville. They will mess up your order almost every time. Again, today I had to hand them the bag back tell them “ not my order”. They are priced higher than the other McDonald’s within a 5 mile radius which is either greed by this owner of this location or even worst they don’t care how much they charge over the others right down the street.
2) To franchise owner , I got to briefly meet the manager on duty that was rude and very unprofessional. Told me she was new to that location and that she had been a Shift Manager since 1992 and nothing would be done, if I complain to the Home office about the food always getting mixed up. I thought, it was laughable that someone would brag about being a Shift Manager at 55 or older. I was thinking that’s not a flex “Ms. Mcdonald”. I bet the reason she said it , because it’s true . No one will do anything to her or even talk to her about her attitude. I’m willing to bet her past store turn over rate is through the roof! I watched her yell and belittle the worker right in front of the customers , because they messed up. I really felt sorry for her employees, because some people just can’t quit when being treated poorly. .
3) To any worker that wants a job at this location , I would rethink it. You need to go to any other location , because clearly they have put someone in charge that won’t respect her people that work for her.
I came through just a bit ago at 4:38pm 6/12/25 and voiced how rude she was and the gentleman at the drive through said he was one of the managers and shrug his shoulders and said I can’t do anything about that, call corporate if I want. Can’t imagine this location is doing very well. The higher ups need to pay an unexpected visit for sure. We can only have better service and employees if it’s expected.
Scam McDonald’s. Eat at your own risk. According to the manager they have had no carbonation in their drink machine for 2 weeks and not only do they not fix it and have no carbonated drinks, their owner and corporate specifically tell them not to inform customers about this before they order and threaten to fire them if they do. They also make the employees lie about it and act like they don’t know what’s going on at first. I asked for a new drink and they acted like they were shocked my drink was bad.
So you order in the drive thru by the time you taste your drink you’re gone and they got your money and you don’t have a drink. And they fight you for a refund too.
