Reviews
The food was fresh and served just the way it should be. The staff here are very helpful, friendly, and attentive, making the service feel smooth and pleasant. Prices are reasonable as always, and the consistency in quality makes this McDonald’s one of my favorite stops.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a clean, calm, and satisfying dining experience! ✨
Fact is I ordered no salt bc I do not like the amount of salt McDonald’s puts on their fries.! And furthermore I don’t have to explain my reasoning as to why I ordered it that way to u sir!! It is ur job to ensure i get what I ordered and paid for! U are paid to provide a service not to interrogate the customer who paid for the service!! Please educate and train these service industry workers on customer service etiquette prior to giving them access to the customers paying for ur services!!
At the drive-thru we placed our order and a young man taking the order over the mic sounded either high or very tired of his job. That was fine we just laughed, we get it. Placing our second order we asked for a cup of Mac sauce on the side. (Very specifically as we order this often for the fries.) He started to put “a cup of” on the order and then crossed it out. Added the drink and gave us the total. We was like, let’s just double check at the window when we pay, no biggie.
We pay for the first order, and have to remind the boy that we had a second order. We ask is the side of Mac sauce on there? And he looks a bit and says I put it on there for a special request, so they “should” but if not just ask them. So we said okay, thanks, and went to the pickup window.
The girl working hands us the first order and drink. We say “we had 2”, and she must have misinterpreted that as 2 drinks, not 2 orders. Fine, again, no problem. We hand it back. She then gives us the second order but she is already acting like she has an attitude now. We check for the Mac sauce, it’s not in there. So we wait a second, she sees us in the window and opens it, attitude again, and we just say we are only missing the side of Mac sauce. She shuts the window and leaves and comes back with a manager. The manager is immediately quick to speak and almost speaking over us, as if we have been causing a big scene or something. Immediately saying pay, its $.50, etc We try to explain, and she says the Mac sauce is on the sandwich, so they did give it to us. SO, the issue was lazy workers not listening, and then grouchy workers not practicing polite customer service. We wasn’t rude once with these people. And as we tried to explain that it was a cup on the side, she repeated that its on the burger. So internally I was like I’m not doing this idiotic customer/employee disrespectful “road rage” so to call it. I’m from a small town area in Indiana and the customer service is never, or RARELY, like that. If we are missing something they are polite and ask what it is, they do not speak over us and treat us like we are doing something wrong.
I talked very clearly and said “We asked for a side of Mac sauce in a cup” (held my hands out like holding a cup, to physically explain) “but it is fine it’s not a big deal” etc. Because I was done with it and the person with me doesn’t take crap from people like that so I knew it would become a big drama over dawned Mac sauce. 50 CENT Mac sauce. And we left.
The food tasted fine, there is no issue with the food. But the customer service was absolutely horrible. You dont make customers feel like crap when they have done nothing wrong. I understand customers can also be in the wrong. But maybe practice better communication skills and manners. It was absolutely ridiculous.
