Terrible customer service – completely avoidable
Stopped at the McDonald’s inside the Love’s Truck Stop and had one of the most frustrating fast-food experiences I’ve had in a while.
There were multiple employees working, but instead of paying attention to customers, they were standing around talking and horse-playing. This location uses kiosks to order, but the kiosk I used had no paper, so I didn’t get a receipt. That’s a problem when you’re required to show an order number to receive your food. Plenty of time to joke around, apparently not enough time to check basic equipment.
I specifically ordered a large fry with NO salt. They gave me fries loaded with extra salt. I sent them back and explained again. They then handed me a small fry with no salt. I had to go back again to correct the order and finally got the large fry I originally asked for.
By the time all of this was fixed, my sandwich was cold. At that point, I was tired, frustrated, and hungry, so I just ate it and left.
This wasn’t a busy rush issue — it was poor attention, poor communication, and zero care for customers. Do better.

I came here last night to get a burger, nuggets, and fries, and the whole experience was terrible. After a 25-minute drive home, I sat down to eat and found my burger made completely sloppy, I was missing a nugget from BOTH of my 4-piece orders, and the fries were old and stale. On top of that, I had to wait 30 minutes just to get this awful food. If I could give it zero stars, I would. The store looks like it’s run by kids who have no idea what they’re doing. Total waste of time and money.

Made a mobile order and drove over to pick it up. Parked curbside and they canceled it as soon as I went to put the number in. Walked in to ask what happened and was ignored by a female employee with blue hair while she flirted with another customer. Finally the manager with red hair walked up and said she has no control over the app and canceling orders and doesn’t really know much. This location continues to be a dumpster fire of bad employees and poor service. It needs to be shut down all together.

Drove through this evening and there was a short wait to order but the cashier apologized for the wait. No worries. I ordered a filet o fish and even though they are MUCH smaller than I remember, the sandwich actually looked really good! (Presentation means alot to me.) I got my food very quickly and all the staff I made contact with were very nice, very professional

Been there three times in the past month. Waited over 30 plus minutes each time on my food. Ordered ahead so it’ll be ready by the time I get there and still nothing. Get to the window and they can’t remember what order was mine. Told them my order. Get handed the wrong food. Then he asks for my order again and gives wrong drink. Then get asked my order again and get the wrong ice cream. Keep in mind. This is just from one visit. Every visit is this bad.

Worst McDonald’s around. Very dirty tables, floors and soda machines (see picture). Only two orders kiosks working. No one behind the counter at the register. No large lids, napkins or ice at the machines. Oh and then you’ll be waiting 20+ minutes for food thrown into the bag (see picture), raw chicken (see picture) cold fries and missing food. Manger just sitting in the office playing with cell phone. Will be reporting to corporate or franchise owner. They need to train the crew better on how to run a restaurant. Go up the road if you have the chance at all.

Tables was nasty floor was not clean and everyone dancing and playing loud music fries were cold chicken was old and burnt no one at the registers a bunch of kids playing around this store needs to be shut down and whole new staff needs to be hired i will never eat at this place again and had to wait 30 minutes for my food and then had to wait another 10 minutes for my drink TO EVERYONE NEVER GO HERE PASS THEM BY but I will be calling corporate Monday morning

Visited recently for a quick trip for lunch. The manager on duty was extremely rude and unprofessional, escalating the situation unnecessarily when I raised concerns about my order and the overall disarray. The restaurant was in complete chaos—long waits, disorganized staff, and a total lack of oversight. When I asked for her name to report the issue, she refused. This is not an isolated problem; similar complaints appear in other reviews about poor management and service during peak hours. Management issues should never become the customer’s problem. Avoid this McDonald’s if possible—especially at busy times. Planning to escalate to the district manager as well.

I made my order. The girl taking my order did not seem thrilled to be there nor was she friendly at all. I had asked her a question and she rudely asked me a question. I got to the next window I was asked to pull up. I had a bacon McGriddle. I waited 18 minutes after pulling up. When I drove off, u wrapping the sandwich. The McGriddle is supposed to have a folded scramble egg. I had one of the McMuffin eggs. They could have told me. Just overall unpleasant experience.
