2016: This McDonalds is decent. The floors are slippery though. Breakfast staff is friendly. I prefer the breakfast over the lunch. Lunch staff is ok.

2018: It’s pretty much like any other McDonald’s. The staff could perhaps been a little nicer. The food itself was really good. The place could use some cleaning. If you are getting like actual food, get a burger or something. Don’t get the chicken nuggets cause they are nasty.

Disgusting place. Staff is disheveled and mumbling to customers. Entire building is filthy. I would go hungry or drive off the mountain before ever coming here again. There wasn’t a clean table in the place, even the seats were covered in crumbled biscuits and bits of fries.

Let’s be honest, it’s McDonald’s. That said… This may be one of the worst McDonald’s around. Spoiled kids that are rude and cannot get an order right. New management, no changes.
I don’t go often, no special orders, but in one year and about 6 or 7 trips I have NEVER had a good experience here. The order is either inaccurate, incomplete or cold. The service is incredibly slow. The servers are very rude. Not sure how this place passes health inspection due to multiple witnessed health violations.
I do not recommend this location and will never personally shop at this location again. EVER.

((!!SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, TN TAFT HWY!!)) The inside is so filthy!! The play area was nasty. My son was covered in long hairs & dirt from the INSIDE PLAY AREA!! The employees were nice but there is definitely a lack of management in this location!! My chicken sandwich was like leather, they had to make a new 1. It was so bad that we left b4 finishing!! The employees friend’s hang out with their toddlers & I witnessed the children running & playing behind the counters. It felt more like a run down daycare than a restaurant. I’m shocked that any corporation would allow their business 2 be ran this way!! I will not eat there again.

This is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Not only was the dinning area disgusting the manager on duty was extremely rude and unprofessional. My husband had to ask for someone to wipe a table clean for us. There was not ONE clean to sit at. They were not busy at all so I didn’t understand why the place was such a mess. They were out of sweet tea, and we had to ask for new fries. They were cold and old. As we were leaving we said, ” have a good night”, and the manager on duty said, “are you going to complain about that too.” It was so rude. I turned around and snapped a picture of the 1800 number to call to complain about our visit there. I will never go back. It is ran by a bunch of immature teenagers. Horrible!!!!

This McDonald’s was probably the most dysfunctional one I’ve ever been in. Lines around the building for days, not because our was so popular, but probably because it was so slow. Inside was no better. People milling around not knowing who had ordered, asks who hadn’t. One kid trying to run the counter while other workers seemed oblivious to the crowd. A simple order took about 15 minutes, after waiting 5 just to place said order. I’d been better off driving down off the hill and ordering at a different location! You probably would be better off, too!

Definitely not the cleanest or quickest McDonalds I’ve been to. Not sure how they even passed their health inspection. Watched the front cashier knock over cooking items to the ground and pick it back up to reuse. When I commented she said it’s for the fries (no duh) and what I was waiting for. Gross.

The food was good and staff was nice; however, the staff was not very knowledgeable about their own menu. The individual at the counter struggled to take my order even after I showed him the items on the menu. This is actually the third McDonald’s that I have visited with this problem in the last two months.

Food (fries) were cold, asked for no onions and they still put them on my cheeseburgers. If they would change the oil in their fryers the fries would be much better but they don’t seem to like criticism or suggestions. They never give you napkins or ask if you need anything to go with your order. Bathrooms are almost always nasty as well.

Food is exactly like every other McDonald’s. The restaurant’s cleanliness is a different story. The floor ALWAYS looks filthy. Drink station always needs to be wiped down. Behind the counter is gross! Yogurt cooler door was open and yogurts were spilling out and on the floor. Spilled smoothie on floor between ice cream machine and cooler. Dirty countertops. I wanted to put on an apron and help clean the place! The staff however is always friendly and quick to get your food out. The drive-thru order taker recently was amazing. I usually have to repeat myself, I attribute it to the fact that I wasn’t raised in the south, so I have never had a problem with that, but this young man spoke clearly and was incredibly courteous with a smile.
