I’m going to start this with saying that we stopped by this McDonald’s on a road trip on Thanksgiving. Feels like important context since most things are closed so the things that are open can be pretty busy. The restaurant itself was clean and it was pretty easy to order on the screens. They also decorated for the holidays so it felt festive inside. The bathrooms were also pretty clean, but the soap dispenser in the women’s bathroom wasn’t working. It was pretty difficult to get the attention of the staff to get the soap sorted out. They ended up just putting a dispenser next to it on the counter so people could get soap while the electric dispenser itself wasn’t working. It also took a really long time for us to get our food so a quick stop ended up being a longer one. Food-wise we got a couple of order of fries, chicken nuggets, a drink, and a sundae. The food was all standard McDonald’s food. Also they were out of ketchup and also the little ketchup containers for the dispenser. This location is fine as a stop on a roadtrip, but I probably wouldn’t choose to go there again.

This staff was amazing; tonight I was a chaperone for a high school choir trip and we, 3 busses deep of hungry teenagers, descendes upon them without warning. They handled this onslaught with patience and poise. The staff working tonight should get a bonus!!

Was chaperoning a high school choir. The crew there handled the crush fairly well. Tried new spicy honey chicken sandwich. Pretty good. Fried jalapenos were a nice touch.

I ordered breakfast and was unable to get the food I wanted. I was trying to get a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit combo and a sausage egg and cheese biscuit combo. What I got was a bacon and cheese biscuit (no egg) and a sausage and egg biscuit (no cheese) and 1 hash brown. I have avoided this location before, and this just convinces me to continue avoiding it. Drive a few more minutes to the Gardendale location, it will be worth it to get your order correct.

recently visited the McDonald’s at 239 Howell St, Fultondale, AL and unfortunately my experience was disappointing.
First, the service was very slow. Even though I ordered at a relatively quiet time, I had to wait several extra minutes just to get my order. When it finally arrived, some items were missing from the bag and the ones I did get were not up to standard.
Second, the cleanliness of the dining area was lacking. The tables had leftover crumbs and wrappers, the floor had sticky spots, and overall it gave the impression that staff weren’t keeping up with upkeep. In a fast‑food place, you expect at least the basics of cleanliness to be consistently maintained.
When it came time to use the restroom, I was even more dissatisfied. The bathroom was dirty and poorly stocked. The sink area had water splashed everywhere, soap dispenser was empty, and the toilet stall I used didn’t feel properly cleaned. For a chain with the resources of McDonald’s, this falls well short.
I understand all restaurants can have off days, but this visit failed on multiple fronts—service speed, order accuracy, dining area cleanliness, and restroom upkeep. Because of that, I can’t recommend this location at this time.

Typical McDonald’s experience maybe on even the lower end don’t recommend going in unless you want to hear the staff yelling and arguing with each other very loud environment. Inside drive-through is fairly quick definitely prioritized over the dine in and carry out carry out. I ordered in advance and I still had to wait 15 minutes after I got there so that was a bit of a letdown. It’s McDonald’s food I mean sometimes it’s fine. Sometimes it sucks. I don’t know what to tell you not a great seating on the inside. It was at least fairly clean.

The girl was extremely rude at the speaker, then told us to pull around but didnt inform to skip first window and go to second so we waited at the first window about 5 min while people passed inside with saying anything. Finally, decided to pull up to second window and some man was outside my passenger door spraying chemicals while my window was open and sprayed my car. We asked him to please stop and he didnt understand english. Just kept standing there spraying something!? The lady at checkout continued to be rude and unfriendly. We couldnt wait to get out of there and realized they forgot all the forks and syrups for all 4 hotcakes orders for my children!!! I also got a bagel sandwich and the bagel was hard as a rock! I couldnt even eat it. Oh and they didnt provide a receipt, we were too distracted with the man spraying my car! Worst experience! This place is disgusting.

As compared to other McDonald’s, I would consider this a 5 star McDonald’s. We ate inside and the food was ready quick. Our order was accurate and everything tasted good. The restaurant was kept nice and clean and staff were actively cleaning tables after guests left. I would feel comfortable recommending this McDonald’s!

Staff seemed a little confused. There was a slight rush but the staff was sending drive through orders to take out guests. One guest got a drive through order for his dine in ticket. IDK maybe they were short staffed or possibly need restrained on the basics.

I would have gave you five stars all the way, but I pulled up to the speaker. They asked for my order I gave them my order and sit there for two more minutes. The young lady then asked again may I have your order I said yes I just told you my order about two minutes ago. She said I’m sorry. Pull forward I get to the window. It’s an older guy there. He is watching TV on his phone. He gives me the wrong total. He said 7.01 so I gave him 10.01 he gave me back more changed than I expected and that’s when I said hey you told me my order was7.01 come to find out when I ask for my receipt. My totals was 5.70 so he did give me the correct change back, but he told me the wrong total if he had not been in his phone he did apologize for the inconvenience, but he was not paying attention I always go to this McDonald’s for my lunch. The food is always hot and the service is always quick. I normally go around lunchtime noon. I’ve never had this issue with them, but my food was hot and my order was correct.
