My family and I have been visiting this McDonald’s for several years and we never had any complaints about the service. Lately, we don’t know what’s happening at this branch; the chicken we’re serving is raw and tough, like plastic. It would be good to investigate what kind of chicken McDonald’s is selling in their McCrispy Chicken Sandwiches and McCrispy Chicken Tenders. Attached is a photo of the McCrispy we were sold today on Thanksgiving Day.

I want to take a moment to thank the staff at the Lockwood and University location. They always have been spot on with my orders and have stood out as a fast food location that my wife and I frequent for their attention to detail in getting the order exact every time. This current visit, I accidentally ordered a quarter ponder for my wife instead of a two cheeseburger meal. It was my mistake ordering and they still corrected it for me and were very polite and quick to assist me. This was something I am very pleased McDonalds did for me and I don’t know if other employees would have gone out of their way to help me like this staff did today. Thank you McD’s on Lockwood!

I have been a regular customer of this McDonald’s for a long time, and I’ve always appreciated the friendly and respectful service. I want to make it clear that I have absolutely no complaints about the managers, including the person who takes orders at the drive-thru — they are always professional and kind.
My concern is only with the accuracy of the orders prepared by the staff who pack the bags. Over the past several visits, my orders have repeatedly been missing items — fries, sauces, or even the correct sandwich. Several times I ordered a Big Mac but received a cheeseburger instead, which is not only incorrect but also a much cheaper item.
Because of these mistakes, I often have to drive back through the drive-thru again to fix the order, wasting my time and gas, and that’s very frustrating. Mistakes can happen, but this has become a pattern. What is also disappointing is that no one apologizes or offers any kind of compensation for the inconvenience.
I hope the management can address this issue with the packing staff so the service can return to the high quality it used to have. I would love to continue coming here, but consistent accuracy is very important.

This is a 24 hour store. You need to staff it as such. I pulled up to the drive through at 5:15 am and the obviously very stressed attendant told me they were the “only one here”. You guys charge an insane amount of money for crappy food, you could at least staff your store. I felt that ownership is greedy and unvalued as a customer. 3 other customers left without ordering after waiting. And I waited at least 20 minutes for an order I ordered ahead on the app. Ridiculous.

The staff is horrible they are the rudest people ever we recently went and they forgot to add ranch to the sandwich we then went inside and told them while the kitchen staff started talking Spanish not knowing that we knew Spanish and started talking badly about us while the manager did nothing or say anything as someone who works in the customer service industry this is horrible we aren’t idiots or anything but for all them to start talking badly while the manager did nothing is by far one of the worst experience I have ever had and this has happened multiple times fix your staff. If I’m spending money the food better be made right.

I am writing this review to mark this moment in time. Let the record be known. Today, on the 27th of October, in the year 2025, the greatest McDonald’s Spicy McChicken sandwich was so perfectly crafted. Never before had such fine skills been demonstrated through the work of the greatest, but unknown McDonalds kitchen cook, the world has ever seen.
My administration commends this location, and bestows upon its staff, the honorary medal of fast food culinary mastery craftsmanship. Well done. Give them a round of applause.

If I could put zero stars I would. This is by far the worst experience I have had with McDonald’s & I have had some bad ones. The short brunette female with safety vest & ball cap on had the nastiest attitude. After waiting 5 minutes at the register to order, and she walked past us 2 or 3 times, I finally said “is anyone working up here so we can order” and her response was I could order at the kiosk. I proceeded to tell her I don’t like to order at those things bc my daughter is picky and the order always seems to be messed up. I requested fresh fries. And let me add I had my 10 year old daughter with me. The employee was rude and snappy. My daughter took the fries back bc the fries they gave us we clearly old and had been just thrown back in the grease to make them hot. The girl who took our order practically yelled at her and told her they were fresh. When our food was given to us at the counter the girl slammed everything including the tray I asked for since I ordered for here and my order was put in a to go bag. All this happened with my child present and this is McDonald’s their main customer is a child. I’m so disappointed. I will NEVER return to this location.

The manager of this restaurant is beyond the worst manager in the history of McDonald’s in my opinion. I ordered on the mobile app a chicken sandwich and used my 1500 points for the first time. I went to the wrong location and because of it the cashiertold me to cancel the order and in return it took all my points and I could not eat my free sandwich.im very disappointed because it takes a few days to get them returned. I e planned this to the manager and she did not take care whatsoever. There cashier did not mention id lose my points if I cancelled..but the manager still did not care. Shame on you ..shotty manager salty mcdonalds location and sketchy customer service has led me to this review. All she had to do is just gomme a chicken sandwich instead of being rude.
