On Friday, April 4th, 2025, I visited this McDonald’s located at 2541 Del Prado Blvd N, Cape Coral, FL 33909
In my adult life, and with the transition to automatic kiosk systems, I’ve noticed a drastic decline in customer service .
Due to my past experiences, I’ve chosen to order through the McDonald’s app to avoid direct interaction with recent bad customer service.
As I was waiting for my order, I noticed that this by far was the most filthiist dining room area I have ever stepped into.
There were no clean tables and trash left on the floor. The order number placards when you ordered through the kiosk were still left on several tables as no employees, number one, cleaned any of the tables for new customers or second cleaned the dining area. (See Photos)
Just unbelievable how this location has NO Pride in their restaurant. The manager needs to be a reprimand.

Food is great, if you get it on time. I only order pickup, so I have to go inside and wait for my food. 9 out of 10 times my food is ready and they just refuse to hand it to me. Someone brings it behind the counter and leaves it there, no one calls an order number, no one calls a name, nothing. I’m forced to stare at my food for 10-20 minutess until someone comes and finally attends me. if I reach over and grab it it’ll be a problem. What a silly wait to delay customers and raise unsatisfactory performances.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service at this location. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato without whipped cream. When I pointed out the mistake, the employee was rude, dismissive, and refused to take responsibility. No apology, no explanation — just poor service.
Mistakes happen, but the attitude and lack of professionalism were unacceptable. There was no apology, and when the drink was returned, it was placed on the table without a word. Customer service and basic courtesy were completely missing.

My crispy chicken was real dark brown and a little oily. But it was very meaty and wasn’t bad. I also didn’t enjoy the double cheeseburgers, much to my surprise. Either my taste was off or the pickles were sour . The service was fast and courteous.

The absolute worst McDonald’s location I have ever been too. I’ve given them one too many chances. I pass this location often and it’s just an easy fast food place to hit but I’m absolutely done now. When I say it’s consistently bad…it’s been consistently bad for over 4 years now. I’m not sure if it’s the same owner who just doesn’t care or what but it’s absolutely bizarre and shame on the owner for letting this place run the way it does. We’re missing items in our bag all the time, after the second time it happened we would just check the order before driving away because it happens so often. If you do delivery, you’re probably going to be missing an item 95% of the time or it will be wrong or both. Apparently, they set it up now on their delivery sites where you cannot get a refund if they don’t give you something or mess your order up so now you’re just out money if they stiff you on your food. For example; I have attached a photo of a Quarter Pounder I ordered with no onions, cheese, mustard, Ketchup and Pickles and I received a quarter pounder with no cheese, bunch of onions and no mustard. I sent the photo into the delivery site and was told McDonalds no longer “offers refunds”…so I called the store and no one answered. I wrote them on Facebook and they insisted someone should contact me and it’s been 5 days, and I have not heard from anyone. Just like last time when we had bones in our nuggets (also attached a picture) and they would not call me back. I actually got a hold of a manager at one point and when I told her I found bones in the chicken nuggets, she hung up on me. I tried to call back and no answer so I gave up. I tried to write McDonalds again on Facebook to let them know I did not receive a call, maybe they could just credit me a quarter pounder on my account so I can get a better one from a different location and they read it and didn’t write back. The amount of money I’ve wasted here and have either received nothing or the wrong item is absolutely insane. Even breakfast is a disaster. Every single time the bacon is undercooked, rubbery and cold. I wish I had unlimited money to run a McDonalds into the ground like the person who runs this one has done because clearly they must have unlimited money and not care if they’re not making any effort to fix this place when the reviews are almost all negative. Come on…

I see some negative reviews so felt compelled to leave mine. I go here way more often than I should and have very few issues. A forgotten order of fries can, and will happen, at any drive thru. But I find the staff friendly and the food fresh. If we go to a different McDonalds when traveling , we will joke that it can’t compete with our local one(this location) as we find this location efficient and friendly. I think folks in this area don’t realize what a fast food gem this is. Thanks for being open 24/7 and always being there when I need a late night snack !!

The nastiest group of people I have ever seen working at this establishment. I highly recommend not coming here and saving your money and your time they cussed at me when I asked for the manager they said oh hell no so these are obviously children. I suggest not coming here and if a manager who actually runs this establishment ever wants to talk to me, I will not stop complaining until you do. This is absolutely a ludicrous way to run an establishment you will go downhill.

Horrible service I ordered 40 nuggets and 2 large fries and 2 mcchicken I asked the girl at the window if my sauces were in the bag everyone said yes and turns out they weren’t and the large fries were half empty. Then I called on the phone and the manager on shift hung up on me! Horrible this never happens in the morning when I go almost every day! But I had enough of the afternoon.
