A lot of recent one stars which was bad to see but driving thru and stopped for the first time. Ordered via app, went inside. Clean and order was ready and correct. Burger seemed more fresh than most McDs. Fries were a bit over salted. Drink was good. Quick and easy. Plenty of parking. Some coveted outdoor seating.

This location used to be the best. Now…it’s just horrible. Regret it every time I cave in to it, which is seldom! My hot honey bacon chicken sandwich was missing the bacon, lemonade was just ice water. Fries were cold and had no salt. I already know it’s crap food, but it used to taste good. Now it’s just crappy all the way around.

I keep giving this location additional chances to impress. Unfortunately, I keep leaving disappointed. I only go to this location due to being the most convenient. However, the last several times I’ve gone, I could’ve driven to the next nearest McDonald’s and back in the time it takes to get my food from here. Anytime I go through the drive through I’m asked to go park in one of the waiting spots, even if the only car in line. So, I started ordering curbside since I’ll have to wait anyways, but I’m still left waiting at least 15 minutes for my food. Don’t bother doing counter pickup because there is no one manning the counter to help and you’re still left waiting. The only saving Grace for this location in my opinion are a handful of the staff. When ordering through the drive thru, they have been friendly. Unfortunately, outside of that, there seems to be a lack of care for the customer and I would not consider this a “fast food” location.

Only vehicle in line. One single meal ordered. Told to pull into stall one, we’re waiting on fry’s. Receive food 11 min later. Big Mac is ice cold so salty it cannot be eaten. The Cheese is even COLD and completely unmelted! Fries were cooked for what appears to be that 11 minutes and then back in for a few more. . I’m done with this location, they can never seem to get it right.

This has got to be the worst McDonalds in Central Florida. The one thing they have going for them is that they get the order right… unless you order on the app. Then they ignore modifications you’ve ordered on the app.
Tonight, at the time of posting, at 8:40pm, I pulled into the drive through and they told me that they were “accepting mobile orders only”. They always mess up my mobile orders with very clear and easy modifications. There was 1 or 2 cars in line. So I pulled away.
On top of that, this McDonalds is the ONLY one I can think of that closes. Most are 24 hours a day, and even then, they closed at 11pm and refused to take my in person order.
Lastly, when you do finally order, via in person drive through or the mobile app, they force you directly into their waiting numbered parking spots. No, hey, just wait 30 seconds at the 2nd window (McDonalds ticket times are targeted for 90 seconds). No, it’s go to the waiting spot immediately after they hand you any drinks you ordered, if any. They will do this regardless of how many drivers are in line. Often, I am the only person in line and I still have wait in the parking spot for 3 to 5 minutes. I have lived in Mount Dora and used this location for 4 years, and I will never go back now. They haven’t changed, it’s always been this way, but forcing mobile only orders is frickin ridiculous and was the last straw.

The personnel at register needs to be more attentive and focus on the orders from customers as my experience was short on the order and plus everything that goes with it such as silverware and ketchup syrup etc

The customer service at this McDonald’s is very poor. I’ve been ignored while trying to place an order at the counter, even after employees clearly saw me and chose to turn away without acknowledging me. The workers, including the male manager, need serious training on how to treat customers. Unacceptable. I will take an extra 10 min to go to another McDonald’s where I am felt welcomed. The worst McDonald’s I have ever been to!
