July update they are still unable to take orders correctly through the drive-thru. Just getting the size of your order correct or God forbid you ask for a sandwich with no cheese
You can watch them arguing whether or not they’re going to be able to get the food out on time for the buzzer or make you move forward so they look good
With such an amazing spot right behind a high school. You would think they would invest a little more in their quality in order to keep it going
Today, no A/C inside, burger barely warm, buns crusty. At this point it’s neglect on this store. I’m normally favorable of McDonalds but this one is struggling for long periods of time. I feel terrible for the workers having to work in the heat of this restaurant!
I am sharing my experience with you the way it happened. I am not mentioning names because this is not a personal review. I am prefacing this review by saying; I realize many places are struggling with finding employees. Many managers are working ALOT And I know they are tired. This is NOT an Excuse or Permission to have a negative attitude with your customers.
Today is Sunday, January 9, 2022. This happened today.
I was out running errands and decided McDonald’s would be a good place to choose for lunch. I arrived at this location at a good time. Both the drive~thru and dining room were not very busy. I placed my order in person at the register. Two thirds of my prepared order was placed on the counter in front of me. I stood at the counter waiting patiently for the last third at Least 3 or more minutes. The young man at the register was now serving a growing line. The other employees were ignoring me completely. Then the manager and an employee walked over to the register area so I caught their attention and mentioned my order was incomplete. I asked which one was the manager and explained what items I was still waiting to receive. The manager was clearly Bothered by my information. She sighed deeply and went about gathering my last few items. It took another 5 minutes or more for her to return with my food and drink (Which, I learned later, was the WRONG Flavor drink ) By this time, the lady behind me received her order. Both she and I Had to Ask the manager for the condiments and straws. Which were begrudgingly dropped on the counter as if we had asked for something we shouldn’t have. Again, the manager was Terribly Troubled that I was bothering her for such things.
Yes, they are overworked.
Yes, these are difficult times for Everyone.
YES, I was Very Patient.
I worked in the Service Industry for many Years. I made a point to treat Every Customer with a Smile, Respect and Kindness No Matter How I was Feeling or How Tired I was.
It is Very Dissappointing to have this kind of poor experience.
