Pulled up to window and was told to pull to window 2 to pick up my food. There was no one at window 2 to give me my order. We watched as 3 cars were told to pull to a parking place and 1 was already there. After almost 15 minutes I backed up to window 1 and was told I just got there so I had to wait. I said I want my food or my money back. The staff was nasty and when I asked for the .manager they only replied do you want your food or not. Did not call the manager for me but somehow my food immediately appeared. I ordered 2 double fish filet sandwiches. One was ok. The second had one piece of fish. And the 3 employees at the window were laughing.i handed it back and it didn’t take but a minute at most to put the other fish filet on. Service and staff at this location is horrible!!! Avoid this McDonalds!
UPDATE: Mcdonalds replied with a link that I can not use because THEY ALSO DID NOT GIVE ME A RECEIPT!!! And there is no way to contact rhe corporate office without the receipt apparently!!

This place is an absolute disaster. It’s brand new and already it’s just a dumpster fire of a restaurant. I ordered my food and was immediately told to pull forward into a spot to wait on my drive through order. After sitting outside waiting for 15 minutes I went inside to see what was up. I told the lady “I’ve been waiting outside for 15 minutes” and the manager then snarked at her saying “he ain’t been waiting no 15 minutes” even though my receipt was time stamped. Employees gathered around cussing and talking trash about customers who just want their food is not a good look. So the lady hands me a bag without saying anything at all and I walk out. So you’d think I had to wait 15-20 minutes at least my food should be fresh right? Nope! Fries were limp and ice cold, and my double quarter pounder was hard as a rock and absolutely COVERED in mayonnaise. If you want to avoid an absolute disaster, avoid this McDonald’s at all costs. Go to the Sonic next door, it’ll be way better and the employees there won’t laugh at you, or curse at you, or roll their eyes when you ask for something.

Was passing thru SC and stopped at this location on 12/13/25 @ 10:00pm. . The food was fixed correctly and fresh and service was good, just the like the wait time. I was impressed because u just don’t know what’s going to happen when u eat at fast food places these days. Thanks a lot! Great job guys

New place, SAME CRAPPY Service!!! Waited 18 minutes for a Big Breakfast in the Drive Thru until I decided to get out and go inside the Restaurant! All of a sudden I get my order! Which didn’t have syrup in the bag. So how do you eat hotcakes without syrup!!!!Goes to show that they will forget about you in the Drive Thru. So why not give customers the option of getting their money back IF there order is going to be delayed! That way they can go to the Florence McDonald’s down the road or Sonic. I was hoping that we would get a Chick fil A instead of another McDonalds. Just Disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!

Since they’ve opened back up they have new management and workers. Continuously mess up orders. The only thing they are worried about is drive thru time. They will literally have 6 vehicles pulled up in a parking spot to make sure the drive thru time is down. I was pulled up and had to wait 5 mins for an orange juice. I really don’t understand why I’m pulling up to wait on a drink. They blame every mistake they make on the fact that they have to train new people. A complete joke. SMH.

There was an awful smell when I walked in. They refused to take my order saying I have to use the kiosk only. I refuse to do their job for them. I don’t get a discount for ringing up my own order. What’s next?Do I have to go in the back and make my own hamburger. Prices go up service goes down.

My wife and I placed our order for 3 meals at 8:39 p.m.
We were the ONLY customers in the restaurant. At 9:03 p.m., the manager walked out and asked an employee what were we waiting for? I handed her my receipt and as soon as she walked back to kitchen area, an associate walked out with our order.
A melted milkshake that looked like milk, drinks with melted ice, and cold food. When I mentioned the milkshake, the associate said it was that way because we chose no whip cream. (Which has absolutely nothing to do with the consistency of a milkshake)
I asked to speak to the manager and was ridiculed by employees that cussed and laughed because I asked for a manager.
The manager simply replaced the milkshake.
This place is literally BRAND NEW. Opened last week; and it is HORRIBLE in every aspect of operation. DO NOT for any reason, visit McDonald’s in Darlington, SC. IT IS THE WORST I personally have ever been to. And at 50 years old, speaks volumes.

Service was slow. But the worst part is the order was wrong. I ordered (and paid for of course) 2 double filet o fish sandwiches. We got home and had one double and one single. Tried to call them but no one answered the phone so after 3 attempts I gave up

I waited in the drive-thru for about 15 minutes with a mobile order and received no communication at all. It wasn’t busy, and no one told me to pull around—I eventually did so on my own because I had already been waiting so long. When I tried to get help, the staff acted like I was wrong or didn’t want to assist me. The customer service was very poor.

Food and service were OKAY. The dine in experience was NOT. way too small in here. Who did they design this for exactly. Certainly not southern Americans.The lack of a drink station, any self service (napkins, straws, ketchup) just adds to the overall bad experience on the inside. Won’t ever be stepping foot back inside there for any reason. Food overpriced, portions are slack. I find myself asking the same questions everytime my kids finally convince me to come back for happy meals. ‘Why do people keep paying for this slop’ (myself included) the question remains unanswered.
