The new McDonald’s in Wendell Falls has a wonderful, modern atmosphere, and the food was fresh and well-prepared. While the facility is top-notch, the service unfortunately fell short during my visit.
My experience included a broken cappuccino machine and a forgotten sweetener in my replacement latte. When I tried to get it myself, the condiment station was empty. Getting an employee’s attention was also a challenge, as I had to wait at an empty counter while the staff was focused entirely on the drive-through.
This left me feeling that dine-in customers were an afterthought.
This location has so much potential. With a beautiful new store in a growing area, I truly hope the management can improve the service to match the quality of the restaurant.

That young lady workin the drive thru was the best although I came inside she still offered to assist with my order. That’s a well run McDonald’s and it reminds me a little of Goldsboro McDonald’s on Wayne Memorial Dr. A great cultural environment. Thanks. Will eat there again.

Bernice, the general manager at this location is very horrible at customer service and she will take your money then threaten to call the police on you like the police even care about a McDonald’s worker i’m pretty sure they have better things to do then answer Bernice‘s calls about someone not wanting to leave without their money back or food. Lmao stay far away from this place

Horrible! Had to wait 15 minutes for food (it wasnt busy) and it was burned, and barely warm. When I asked about the status of my order, the clerk caught an attitude. Awful location! Don’t go here!

The food at this location is usually great. And the service is usually pretty decent as well. However, the last few times I have gone to get a slurpee (perfect low calorie treat for my diet) they claim to be out of some or all of the flavors (usually go at night). Today, I asked for a blue slurpee and was told they are out. Then asked for a coke one. Also out… Begrudgingly say yes to the cherry. And when I come to get the slurpee, the girl who took my order gives me a rather rude look and with no words, shoves the slurpee into my hand and I drive off. Mind you it’s 7p and they don’t close until 11p. They should make more product instead of trying to be lazy and clean the machines early. I could see if it was 1045 and they were closing in 15 minutes, then it makes no sense to make more. However, when there’s hours and hours left until close, they should do the right thing for their customers and sell the products that they have in store and on the menu.

Okay, it’s McDonald’s… No need to review that, but this one is VERY clean. There have been times where ordering inside took a few minutes longer than I expected but it’s a minor complaint because they’ve never gotten my order wrong and have had great customer service.
