I usually order on the app at the Union Cross or Walkertown McDonald’s — and funny enough, I never have issues there. I rarely come to this location… and now I know exactly why.
I ordered through the app thinking it would make things quick. That was clearly asking too much. They weren’t even busy, yet they handed me half my food at the window. I told them what was missing, they brought two burgers, but still forgot the fries. Eventually I had to show them the bags AND hand them my phone — which the employee walked off with “to show someone,” I’m assuming… which is wildly unprofessional.
After that mini magic show, they finally came back with the rest of my order. Seven items total. Not complicated. Somehow turned into a full production.
And while all of this was happening, I got the bonus feature of watching employees scrolling on their phones in full view of the drive-thru window. Impressive multitasking, honestly — wrong order AND personal screen time? Bold strategy.
I could’ve driven to literally any other McDonald’s — including my usual two — and been in and out faster, with the correct food, and without my phone taking a tour of the building.
This location needs a serious reset in professionalism, accuracy, and basic customer service.

A standard McDonald’s experience. The food is always consistent, and the drive thru moves at a decent pace even when it’s busy. The location is very convenient right on S Main St. It can get a bit loud inside during peak hours, but it’s a good go-to for a fast and easy meal.

Dine in in the morning seems to be closed alot lately when i come by at 6am when it says it opens at 5am. Oh and to add the drive thru employee taking order has a bad attitude il stop coming to this one i will drive cross town that one is better anyways.

Get rid of the lazy young girl working the drive thru food pickup window this morning. She played with my bag of food for a minute before handing it over, rolling the top up and down, didn’t speak. Then they had to remake my drink because she had given it to the person before me. Another employee had to tell her that the drinks had stickers saying what they were. How did she not know that ..she just didn’t care is all. Then she stood there like her arms were broke for me to take the drink from her, again not speaking, she never did speak. She did nothing but stand around waiting for everyone else to pickup her slack and held up the entire drive thru line

Just had an extremely poor interaction with the manager here approx 10:41am 7/20/25. I purchased breakfast from drive thru and ate my food in the car.
After eating my meal, went inside to refill my drink (as one would do while dining in, but also as I’ve done numerous times at this store and dozens of others).
As I’m sitting in my car about to leave, the old Karen of a manager comes out and begins to harrass me about bringing a drink from outside into the store and refilling it, calling that dirty and also calling me dirty. As a black man, I know for a fact this individual chose to approach me and escalate this situation because of my race
This is probably the most ridiculous interaction I’ve had with anyone in the service industry in my life. My first job was at McDonald’s, for 3 years. I’ve already complained to corporate but am posting here for visibility.
I have attached a picture of my cup…I keep Wendy’s straws in my car to use instead of the cheap McDonald’s straws that can be damaged just by removing them from the packaging. When Corporate responds, I will be showing them as well.
TLDR; the Karen on Sunday mornings has too much free time on her hands. I’m sure she has a very fulfilled and happy life.

I wanted to get two biscuits with butter on them. They put butter on top of the e biscuit instead of the inside? I asked if they would put butter on the inside and they said they weren’t allowed to do that?! I said well you open a biscuit and put egg, bacon or anything else on the inside of it. Well they will not do that…. So it’s better to just go to biscuitville or bojangles and get a real butter biscuit.. just inconvenience when your driving to work and have to pull over to put packs of butter on the inside of your butter biscuit!!!

Horrible service!!! every time I go they always mess up my food one time I went in the drive thru and the girl had an attitude and i was charged for something I never ordered and when I was waiting on my food the employees which are mostly teens were joking around and not doing their jobs they asked me “did you need anything” and I told them I was waiting on my food for a long time while the sat there talking goofing off worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been too.

This McDonald’s is very clean, staff is friendly, they are able to keep up with the orders & the food taste great exactly the same as other McDonald’s. I like that this McDonald’s has a strong internet but only 1 TV that is on a public channel. The other two seemed to be programmed to push McDonald’s products at you as if I need that because I’m already eating there. If they were to place the Tv’s in a more viewable area and turn off the McDonald’s Adds then they would have
