Some cooks hardly clean the grill, burnt pieces of previously cooked meat on burgers and sometimes pinkish. Haven’t usually had a problem with their chicken until recently, it’s being pulled up too fast or the temperature is off because middle of crispy chicken patties are hardly cooked in the center and this sometimes happens with their nuggets. Drinks are always refreshing so there’s a pro. Also the fries are sometimes over salted.

Food was good, the service was so so. I had to ask like four times if anybody was there when I pulled up to the drive-thru before someone answered and then they were very short with me, it takes very little effort to say and do the right things for good customer service. Someone that needs to remind their workers of that and enforce it.

I ordered 4 mcribs plain only BBQ sauce. Was handed 4 mcribs completely plain with no BBQ sauce so when I took it back in to ask for sauce on them the cashier was rude by saying well when u say plain that means nothing on it. My response was that I requested plain only BBQ sauce on all them. He rolled his eyes as he told the cooks she’s not smart enough to request only sauce instead of plain. When the manager asked what was wrong the cashier laughed n said she asked for plain n that’s what she got now she wants sauce because she’s not smart enough to say it. Everyone laughed and I told manager that they were being very rude, and inconsiderate n that they shouldn’t b speaking like that. Manager just laughed n said we got a Karen who needs to learn how to speak. I just grabbed my food n left. Bawled my eyes out in my car. I just went through the death of my husband and now being called names, n very hurtful words. I will never go there again

Staff is super kind and accommodating! Quick drive thru experience. Double drive thru. Close to Kroger and some shopping. Across road from boat access to kanawha River and roadside park. Large renovated dining area with soda machine. Kids were happy with their meals and our Big Macs. Nice to see such great teamwork every time we visit! Super clean and convenient to route 60. Close to Kroger Gasoline.

This is probably the worst McDonald’s in the area when it comes to service. On multiple occasions, I have went thru the drive thru & they have had the two lanes open. Every single time, the second lane gets ignored. Why even open it? I sat there this morning for 5+ minutes, with someone in front of me, while we watched more than 6 cars get their order taken in the other lane. When the guy finally decided to take the order of the man in front of me, he just kept leaving the man hanging, so he got mad and drove off. I pulled up & waited another couple minutes before he finally even asked to take my order. The only reason I’m not leaving 1 star is because of the manager there. She’s clearly stressed out, but was very apologetic & is always super polite on the early mornings that I do stop there. I think from now on I’ll just drive the couple extra miles to Dunbar to get my food. The wait isn’t worth it.

I came thru the drive thru at 11:30 the employee was standing out front smoking not acknowledging the fact we were sitting in the drive thru so we pulled around and asked what was going on bc they aren’t suppose to close drive thru down till 12am. He said they only stay open till 12am during the summer which is a lie. Terrible customer service TERRIBLE

12/26/23 I recieved old nuggets that looked like they had been sitting under a warmer too long. They were hard dried up and reddish orange. The place was VERY busy. I only ordered nuggets and mcdoubles, easy items that should be easy to hand out but instead they told me to park and they’ll bring it to my car. I waited 17 minutes for them to bring me these old nuggets and they left my car before I could check my order. In the future I’m not pulling forward and I’m checking my old nuggets before I leave the window(and checking the ones on the bottom because sometimes they put the old rubbery ones underneath fresh ones). And I’m going to ask for fresh nuggets and still not pulling forward. Is it going to hold up the line? Yes. But otherwise I won’t get my food fast or fresh. I have to do what I have to do.
7/19/22 My 10 year old son was filling his drink sometime around 8:30pm when a male employee also came to fill up his own drink and was upset that there were no lids to fit his cup so he exclaimed the F word then asked my son to define the F word. My son wisely ignored him. My kids’ first time eating inside this location and this is what happens. It’s their last.
Updated review 6/28/21 @ 7:30 pm: This franchise is managed very poorly. My order was made by a very spiteful person who’s mad because I ordered my sandwich with special instructions. I ordered extra sauce on 2 sandwiches. There’s more sauce on the wrapper/box than on the sandwich. Were they in a rush?No, no cars were behind me and only 1 before me. I added tomatoes and they left them in a tall stack instead of laying them out. I added slivered onions on both sandwiches – got none. This is the worst mcdonald’s. I called to complain. They did write my name down to recieve my order free next time but I don’t even want to go back.

This McDonald’s sucks. I doordashed 30 nuggets and they told me “oh well that sucks” even though they’re the ones that forgot it. Couldn’t get refunded for them at all. The food that did arrive was not good. It was all cold.

The fries where no where near fresh. But not cold that a plus. The fish sandwich wasn’t the greatest a D+ at best fries D- the tea was a B . Not a really long wait time. I don’t really do much McDonald’s. The movie about them was a big trun off for me. I will not be a heavy user!!!! Plus I think the are getting me with the cup size and the amount in them. The food doesn’t seem as good as it did years ago at any McDonald’s. And the food has gotten smaller and more expensive. Over the years. I take it no body is cleaning the table in the lobby or the floors at all anymore. Im not sure why. But this is get to be a thing at a lot of the local restaurants now.

The girl at the window was extremely rude, rolled her eyes the entire time she was handing us our food, and gave us attitude for no reason. As we were talking to her, she shut the window on us. When we were finally able to ask for extra sauce, she closed it yelled at the manager than told me I had to pay extra. Pictured below is the sad excuse for the sauce I did pay to be on the sandwich.
