My family used the mobile app to order 4 frappes. We went through drive thru to make it as easy as possible, the guy sarcastically told us, “oh no, the frappe machine is down”. We came home and placed a door dash order for 4 frappes and received them without issue. Odd.

Ellen made my mocha frappe (which I ordered the Carmel) and put it on the counter. Instead of giving it to me she made other orders. I beeped my horn to get her attention but she ignored me. When she finally came to the window I asked for her name so not sure if her name is correct. She is ALWAYS rude. This is not the first time this has happened. One other lady in the morning does this. They are fast to pull you around but slow to give you food.

I stopped and tried the 2 spicy chicken wrap meal. I went inside and ordered it to go.
I had a short wait. The staff were friendly. They also looked like they were working together to prepare orders!!
I enjoyed the meal too! Another plus for McDonald’s!!

McLoving! After several disappointing meals at McDonalds I thought it was time to take a road trip. The Altavista McDonalds was as amazing as I remembered. Cleanliness combined with stellar food safety and employee training makes this the McRight choice for all. The lettuce is fresh and the gloves are on, only employees who do not directly handle food use bare hands. The food was prepared correctly, restaurant is clean, and the employees are motivated and polite. This was the first time that I received a clean box for my tenders!

I went through the drive through and ordered the $5 meal bag. Pulled up to the window paid pulled up to the next window she told me to pull around to number one holding space she would bring my food out to me. I probably waited maybe 5 minutes. They brought my food and everything was cold. Cheese wasn’t melted the nuggets were cold, the french fries were lukewarm. The food wasn’t very good.

I’ve given the McDonald’s in Altavista multiple chances, but the experience is always disappointing. The customer service is terrible—employees are rude, slow, and seem uninterested in taking orders or getting them right. The food is just as bad— stale, and never made right. No matter how many times I visit, the service and quality never improve. It’s frustrating to see and hear of the same issues over and over again.
If you’re looking for fast food done right, I’d recommend going somewhere else (Gretna or Rustburg locations).

Traveling north and stopped in to grab breakfast. Only one other order on the board when we placed ours. Almost $40 for 4 of us, prices definitely climbing. BUT when one sandwich didn’t have cheese, the biscuit appeared stale and the coke was flat, even the already low bar for expectations was missed.
