This has nothing to do with the food. The food was decent. They did, however, screw up my order. They shorted me an apple pie. Customer service was horrible. They all wanted to ignore everyone in the lobby. If you did need something, you had to ask as someone passed by you. The lobby was atrocious. Hadn’t been swept in hours. Watched the guy working the cash register do absolutely nothing for 20 minutes before finally restocking cup lids. Most of the tables haven’t been touched in the 30+ minutes I’ve been here. I feel dirty just sitting here.

This McDonald’s (Williamson Rd across from the Berglund center) is trash. Respectfully. I have never come here and gotten what I ordered. This is the result of spiteful employees intentionally giving me the opposite of what I ordered. **no pickles please… okay let’s give her extra BOTH sandwiches had a ton of pickles and both wrappers said no pickle and there we only 3 cars (customers) in line.

This McDonald’s used to be VERY bad but is now my 2nd favorite in Roanoke followed by the Vinton McDonald’s as my favorite. Over the past year this restaurant has drastically improved and the food quality is always amazing. The service here is excellent too. I am very happy with the steady improvements I have seen at this store. I got the chicken McNuggets today and as always they were fantastic.

Depending on the time of day depends on if you can get your order fast or not. I usually use the app so I can do it ahead of time and there’s been times I’ve had to wait. However there is one very sweet girl who is always pleasant and makes up for such a long wait.

This McDonald’s in particular at the moment has had some sort of shortage and staff or something as I went last night because they messed up a previous order. So as I went to last night to place a separate order and let them know I would like to replace the sandwich they really messed up the night before….. a second chance. I get in the drive through sit there for 15 minutes only to find out that that they were ignoring my side of it so I had to drive around the other way instead another 10 minutes to place my order . Finally got to the window the fries are completely soggy and the two mediums that I ordered literally looks like a combination together maybe was a medium! At that time had also ordered a blizzard and other items. After proceeding through a 45-minute drive through wait receiving the food that I paid for they told me I would need to come in and ask them for the sandwich separately. So I did walked in with my food from the drive-thru and not only did it take them 30 minutes to get the sandwich I had to remind them about an overpriced ice cream that they had to ring up as a Sunday and still didn’t give me the proper amount. also I had to remind them about the other item I had ordered. I understand everyone gets busy and I understand things happen but at the same time I am a paying customer and all of us don’t usually have a whole lot of time especially when we say no problem we’ll come in and don’t make a big deal about anything this is just a little bit ridiculous. Am I the only one that can’t afford to just continuously throw money away for absolutely no reason….. I don’t know if I ever want to go back here!

Our tea and strawberry pies were great and service was as well. The problem was my pregnant daughter was approached by an elderly lady outside the door who said she needed to pray over her sins and kept trying to touch her belly. It left my daughter feeling very uncomfortable with a stranger touching her especially in a time where we have covid.
