Without a doubt during the summer season this McDonald’s being located just off of the exit of 64 and 264 in Virginia Beach and on birdneck road is one of the busiest We’ve encountered in sometime. Stopped by this morning at around 9:45 to grab a quick breakfast before heading out on our daily trek. the drive-through was wrapped around the building and the inside was as equally busy. But guess what, the overworked and underpaid staff we’re doing a great job. Even as busy as this place was, the inside seemed clean enough and the staff were friendly and tried to be as helpful as they could to various customers complaining that they didn’t get their order correct. One thing we have to remember McDonald’s is not what it used to be, at 1 point in time it was basically just for teenagers to work at while going to school or maybe a part time job for someone. But now it seems that you see more and more full timers from the labor market. I applaud the people that work in fast food especially at a place as busy as McDonald’s, Of course I think prices should be increased slightly so they can afford to pay their workers A better wage especially in an environment as tough as a McDonald’s is

If I could give it no stars, I would have. Worst experience I have ever had. We waited 1 hour for our food. At first I didn’t mind but then I realized that the drive thru was continuing to move so they were more concerned with getting those orders out probably bc it affects their store numbers. They should have stopped taking orders until they were caught up but didn’t. The thing that got me mad was that the GM lied and said they were filling orders as they came in. Totally untrue bc I watched the cars in the drive through and they were getting their food within minutes.

If i could give this a negative star I would!!! The worst customer service i’ve ever had in my life!!!! I was just here literally 5mins ago!!!!! And I ordered a quarter pounder, Is this even a quarter pounder?! Like seriously?! I’ve waited 25 mins for this???!!! You gotta be joking right?! And the freaking cashier is so rude!! Can you please train your employees.

This location has consistently terrible service for the last 5 yrs. ice cream always out and today no different. Instead of a sign stating that , they let u order and pay and wait n line again for a refund. Happy meal today had apple slices that were a bag of rotten juice and when I took them back , they handed me more from a hot bin , not even refrigerated like the health dept requires . And for the burger in happy meal , no option for adding cheese to the dry burger. Everything was a terrible experience today !!!!

This is our 2nd week in a row trying to get a frappe from this location. Every time we come here usually around 10am or 11am the machine is down. Can’t order a smoothie or anything! It’s not late at night before close so I’m not understanding why the machine is down consistently during the day! Why have the items on the menu if you can’t ever order it..

Wow total Kaos it seemed. Pulled up for a quick mobile order of a couple mcflurries. 20 minutes later i walked inside to check on them, another 8 before I was even acknowledged. Just to be handed 2 half melted cups of swirled colors from the melted M&M’s in the creamy soup I was handed. I forgot there was a reason I’ve stayed clear of this location. They are definitely consistent with slow service, not a care that the order was wrong or how long it takes to get your order together.

Updating my review! Not for the better either. This place is horrible. The employees are rude, the food is never hot or even warm, it’s actually pretty soggy, and half the time you don’t receive everything you ordered. The last time I ordered, the food wasn’t even in the wrappers and everything was just thrown in the bag covered in grease. The bottom of the bag was soaked with the grease from the food. I expect greasy food. I also expect it to be in wrappers. The photo shows my last order.

I have eaten at McDonald’s many times over the years. Quick stop for a coffee and sausage McMuffin. Warmly greeted. Quick service. Very good coffee. Enjoyed my McMuffin. Clean store and bathrooms. Hard working staff.

This McDonald’s needs urgent maintenance! I stopped by inside to go to the bathroom and then order but when I walked right in their whole inside lobby smelled terrible and so much trash everywhere! I should have taken pictures but definitely a lot of people who go through the drive thru don’t know how unsanitary it is. Their bathrooms are pretty bad.
