decent location, though it depends on the hours in which you arrive. sign says 24 hours but this is not true. have placed several app orders for pickup at drive thru between the hours of 4am and 5am only to be rudely turned away, even with receipt of purchase. while I understand the kitchens need to switch from a dimmer menu to a breakfast menu, it is certainly not the patrons fault for the purchase nor is their responsibility to comprehend the needs of any particular business. The aforementioned also pertains to attempting orders at the drive thru menu during those same hours. it seems the language between app and physical location data is lacking and needs attention.

I ordered a Big Breakfast. She asked if I wanted 1, 2 or 3 pancakes with it. I said 3. I also asked if it still came with eggs and a biscuit in addition to the 3 pancakes. She said yes. I didn’t really pay attention when she said it would be $18. But, noticed that a Big Breakfast cost $10.79. I thought it was an upcharge because of the extra pancakes. I quickly looked in the bag and saw two containers, one with 3 pancakes. I figured the one underneath was eggs and a biscuit. I got home and discovered that I had 3 orders of hotcakes and sausage. I don’t live close to the restaurant, I stopped on my way home from VCU downtown. I live 20 minutes from the restaurant and I was not going to spend 40 minutes (there and back) to correct the mistake. So, I had 9 hotcakes and they were sub-par. I actually worked at McDonald’s from 1986 to 1992. Started as regular crew at 14 years old and was a crew trainer within 6 months (beginning 1987) and a swing manager at 16. I feel like the pride and customer service techniques that were taught to me back then was way better and created better overall employee service and retainment. We didn’t see high turnover rate at any of the 3 stores I worked for. I don’t eat fast food very often for health reasons, but, I feel like getting an order right and checking that it’s right before giving it to a customer is something that has been l lost in the last 30 years. It’s really not that hard to do, it’s what I was trained to do back in ’86. If I go to a McDonald’s in the next year, it won’t be this one.

Every time I’ve gone into this McDonald’s, the place smells absolutely terrible, like actual sewage. It hits you the second you walk in, and I have no idea how employees can even work in those conditions.

On top of that, my most recent visit was just ridiculous. I used the McDonald’s app to redeem a deal, buy a drink, get a free fry. We got our food, and the fry was missing, so we politely let them know. Instead of helping, the manager gave us a dirty look, and staff in the back started accusing us of trying to scam them. We tried explaining that we used the app deal, but they kept talking about us like we were lying.

One employee did come out and apologize, they were very kind and professional, but the manager’s attitude was just uncalled for. When we said thank you, she still acted annoyed and dismissive.

Food service is hard, but treating paying customers with disrespect is unacceptable. Between the smell and the staff’s attitude, this location needs serious management changes.

This place regularly stinks of sewage. I feel so bad for the employees because I feel sick after a few minutes of being in there.

It took two hours for them to give my delivery driver my chicken nuggets and fries, my driver was quick but it was super cold by the time I got it.

I only ordered from them to try the new grinch shaker fries, but I just got regular fries, I wish they had notified me because I would’ve just cancelled it. They also forgot my drink.

Ordered a mobile order late night. App says they’re open until 359, cool I get there by 245. App charges me, takes my money, but instead of any employees, I get nothing at the ordering box. Tried calling the store, no answer. After a few minutes I go to leave, and apparently the employees were sitting out front and smoking. I expect my money back ASAP, tried calling to cancel the order, but again, no answer. As of writing this my order has yet to be cancelled and I have yet to receive my refund. I will also be calling corporate

I usually try to avoid this McDonalds because the service is usually horrible. HOWEVER around 1:45 am on Thursday, 10/16 the service was outstanding the guy taking my order at the drive thru was very polite saying thank you and you’re welcome. Then the guy handing me my food asking did I need any condiments after handing me HOT food y’all the cheese was melted on the burger and the fries was hot I almost fainted. I always check my food at any fast food restaurant he saw me checking it and asked was my food to my liking. I said yes sir looks good he said great to hear cause we care about the customers here. Y’all I thought I was at Chick Fil A and after saying thank you I was waiting for my “pleasure” he said you’re welcome. I was shocked they were so polite and courteous. WOW! 10/10 for me.

I use to here every morning at 5 AM to grab breakfast. The crew was different last Friday morning and I refuse to go back.
The lady made hot chocolate out of hot water and chocolate syrup and didn’t bother to clean the cup off.
She handed me a filthy cup of water and chocolate syrup that was dripping from the cup.
I was embarrassed and had to get to work and refused to be late for a cup of hot chocolate made wrong.

The round egg was scrambled on the sausage egg and cheese biscuit.
It was just garbage that I paid for.
I drive 30 minutes to Glen Allen to grab breakfast from McDonald’s and then go to work.
15 minutes both ways to Glen Allen just to grab breakfast over a location who didn’t get it right.

The new night shift manager is nice, and she even remembered to put sweet & sour in my bag cause she remembered me from the last time I was there. The inside smells like sewage/bad plumbing so it’s hard to stay in there for long. The current staff is respectful and seems to be getting things done as best as they can. Store could be a little bit cleaner, but you can tell the staff are trying.

Ordered with the mobile app for drive through pick up, told me to hop out of the drive through to change to “pick up inside”, refused to “take orders from drive through” despite mine already having been put in. Waited exactly 40 minutes, meanwhile others being served before me and ordering well after me, and the drive through resumed. Some nice folk at the front, but poor service over all, questioning what’s the damn point of ordering ahead
