I’ve Picked up multiple orders for DD from this location, Only complaint is its one of the slowest serving locations in the area. I’ve spent more time standing and waiting at this location than any other. Not sure if this is an issue than can be resolved or if just the normal for DD order to be the less important.

This McDonald’s, located in the Barracks Road shopping center, has a University of Virginia theme, with photos of different parts of the campus. Service is usually pretty good but today I ran into a glitch. As shown in one of the photos, they had no carbonated beverages and their frappe machine was broken. Sometimes the McDonald’s app requires you to place a prepaid mobile order to get a discount (e.g., 20% off). So I ordered a caramel frappe in advance through the app only to discover they weren’t able to make any. I had no choice but to go inside the restaurant and request a refund. The associate at the register was very nice but he did not know how to process a refund, so it took awhile. That’s been my biggest issue with the app, placing a mobile order only to find the restaurant can’t fill part of it, which means you have to go through hoops to get your money back.

Went in here for lunch.. 6 people waiting for food, few tables with chairs up. .. 15 dirty tables. How is this a welcoming environment for something you barely call food? Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT COME HERE

Gross! Flys everywhere. Staff is rude, not happy to see customers. Probably has some chip on thier shoulder. Floor disgusting, drink station unsanitary. Flys all over you while inside. Expected more being in Charlottesville. Avoid at all costs. Left order, just ate the cost and abandoned food.

I went in on Veteran’s to obtain a free complimentary hamburger. I was told they didn’t know anything about the Veteran’s day special. If this McDonalds won’t support veterans one day a year, I won’t support this McDonalds all year.

Wow that Arch Burger tasted awful. No wonder ceo scared of it. This place has served me compketely cold and raw bacon AND a quarter pounder so greasy, the cardboard box it came in was soaked and falling apart. Other issues as well

Large fries came out cold, crispy like a potato chip and the container was half full. When you use the drive thru it is for convenience most likely due to time and you should not have to check your order to go back inside to correct the order. No confidence in their drive through service. Staff should know better because I don’t believe they would want food served to them to be that poor quality. Tells me they just do not care. I suggest the ownership do some quality control audits.
