We only ever stop here because it’s right next door to the car rental company we use every now and then. It’s pretty much an average McDonald’s in terms of food, service, quality, and cleanliness.
The parking is pretty small and it sees a lot of people since it’s the closest location to the Reagan National Airport in Crystal City. Parking is pretty small so when you’re entering through US-1, it could get backed up due to the drive thru immediately on the left. You may need to drive around the building if the line of the drive thru gets backed up.
This location is a 2 story building and it looks updated with its interior decoration. You can order 4 different ways: through the counter, the self-ordering kiosk, mobile app, and the drive thru. The day we decided eat inside, the stairs to the second level was blocked (not sure why or for what reason). It was also not busy for a weekday afternoon, so we were able to sit at a large booth. There were even counter height seating available.
Food is as expected, just average, but at least it was hot and came out fairly quickly. Service was good and decent.

This is one of my favorites McDonalds to dine in. I love the atmosphere and lay out. Very convenient for different groups or just alone dining. The service is good and friendly staff.
There is ground floor and upstairs dining. The view upstairs of Crystal City and Jefferson Highway is beautiful. There are a few plug outlets throughout so you can use to charge your device or work. It has a constant foot and vehicle traffic inside as well as outside. Parking is very limited and sometimes you have to circle a few times before a parking space opens up. Nothing to complain, they always get my orders correctly.

This was an amazing place to visit! The service was amazing! We had a group of around 56 people and they didn’t complain and they were so nice to everyone in our group! I feel bad for the one custodian though, there were over 70 people in the McDonald’s but she still kept at it and did her job with a smile! Shout out to her Sadly I didn’t get her name though :((

The food and service were as expected for McDonald’s—nothing special, but it hit the spot for a quick meal. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. However, I did notice quite a few homeless people outside the location, which made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable. It’s something to be aware of if you’re planning to dine in. Overall, an okay experience.

Extremely Poor Food Quality & Concerning Handling Practices

I am beyond disappointed and frankly appalled by my experience at this location. I spent over $10 for a meal that ended up in the trash because it was inedible and handled improperly.
The Issues:
The Filet-O-Fish: The sandwich was served cold, and the quality was so poor that the bun was actually stuck to the cardboard packaging.
The Fries: When I informed the staff that my fries were cold and requested hot ones, I witnessed a major violation of food handling protocols. I handed my fries back to an employee (who appeared to be the manager). Instead of discarding the cold fries and providing a fresh batch, she held my old container over the fry bin while a coworker poured a few hot fries on top of the cold ones.
Lack of Hygiene: Reintroducing food that has already been served to a customer back into the preparation area/fry station is a massive cross-contamination risk and a breach of standard food safety rules.
It is clear that proper protocols are not being followed here. I shouldn’t have to “fight” for hot food, and I certainly shouldn’t have to worry about whether the staff understands basic health department standards. I ended up throwing the entire meal away. Save your money and go elsewhere.

It’s an average McDonald’s in terms of service and food quality.. however, there is zero available parking here at all times, you just park in one of the reserved spots and hope for the best.. also top floor was closed off so it was quite busy on the main floor. Staff is very nice and helpful. I’ve never had a steak and pancakes breakfast and now I know why.. lol.. onions should never be anywhere near a pancake and the “steak” was not so delicious. Quick service though and clean place so its a good stop.

This McDonalds does not staff it’s order line at 7:45 forcing people to go the payment booth. Very inattentive. When attempting to pay for a simple order, the cashier wanted 8+ dollars, and when I refused that amount the cashier tried to charge me 9+ dollars. Finally, the charged me for what I ordered, did not wait for the addition coins. I called the phone number, and no one answered. Also, I was not given a receipt. This isn’t the first time for a mix up in morning orders.
