Just utilized the drive thru at the Gunston Plaza location (2:48pm) and the two young gentlemen handling both windows were excellent. They exhibited perfect customer service and truly made the customer feel welcome. There was genuine care for their responsibilities and the guest. So refreshing in today’s society where entitlement is spreading and people truly seeing each other is increasingly rare. A+ you two! Keep this attitude throughout life and you will make the world a better place.

I just came around at 7:45pm tonight, 1/13/26 and the two guys at the window were the kindest employees that this McDonald’s has had working the drive thru. I like this McDonald’s because the one up in west Springfield is charging almost $5 a mcchicken. The food always comes fresh and the hardly ever forget my sauces.

Naya (not sure is i spelled that correctly) was super helpful! She took the time between customers to help me out with a happy meal for my niece. I didn’t really understand what O was trying to get but I got the right one and my niece was very happy! I also saw a manager (i think?) help a father out with his daughter as well, super nice her to help him out like that. Above and beyond what I expect from a fast food restaurant let alone a McDonalds starting to go with kiosks

I recently ordered curbside and had a frustrating experience. I waited 20 minutes, and not a single customer was at the drive-thru. Deciding to walk inside, I noticed three employees present, but I was the only customer, and they all completely ignored me. After standing there for five minutes, they finally handed me my food, which had clearly been sitting there the whole time. When I asked why it didn’t come to the curb, one of the employees lied and said it didn’t register as a curbside order. However, my receipt clearly showed the curbside number. This lack of service and accountability is disappointing.

Honestly, I also don’t make reviews but when I ordered from here, it was a good atmosphere and busy, and the receptionist at the counters were pleasant. However, I got the wrong order and essentially paid more for less; triple-burger cost for a double-burger instead. When I tried to send “customer feedback,” it wouldn’t process due to an “error,” so here is my feedback with photographs attached. If you do have to order from here, they won’t tell you this but you SHOULD check your bag every time.

Spent twenty minutes this morning in the drive thru line between waiting to order and getting to the window. Watched three cars in the line next to me that showed up well after I had already been waiting get seen before I even had anyone say anything to me. Started my order and was told they don’t have anything sausage. That’s fine, they can run out of stuff. I ordered something else and finally got to the window line. When I get to the window and go to pay, they start handing me the wrong order, so I tell them what I ordered only for them to then tell me that they also don’t have that and that I need to order something else. This is after they had shown that they knew what they did and didn’t have, they still let me order another thing they don’t have just to sit in line and tell me the same thing. I just left after that.
Not a great first impression at all.

This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. They are closest to me, so I try about once per year to see if they’ve improved, but over the last decade they have only gotten worse.
They screw up orders so often that I have wondered if they’re doing it intentionally. I have ordered a Big Mac combo meal and seen them forget the Big Mac. They’ll always have a soda machine down, or a card reader down, or some other inconvenience. I know it’s just McDonalds, so I don’t expect the employees to actually care, but someone could literally do better by just blindly throwing items into the bag and hoping they got the order correct.
It’s been so bad for so long that I assume the managers/owners are aware and they just don’t care.

I’ve lived in the Lorton Virginia area for about 3 years now. I only live about a half a mile from this McDonald’s. On Saturday, I will generally stop here and order breakfast before going to work. Over the past 6 weeks, this McDonald’s has had an issue with their Orange Juice machine (at least that is what I was told). How can you offer breakfast and not have orange juice? How difficult can it be to put in a request for a new machine or have someone service the old one? Get it together McDonald’s. This should be an easy fix to ensure that your customers get exactly what they need.
