We had an awesome time at this McDonald’s today. It’s my go-to location personally. Today, my wife and I brought our three year old grandson to have breakfast. Debra took our order and absolutely made our day. She was so kind and thoughtful.

I usually go through the drive through at this location, and unfortunately the experience is rarely good. The staff at the window often come across as rude, and it can be hard to understand them. On my last visit the fries were extremely cold and my hot fudge sundae barely had any fudge, actually they had used the chocolate syrup. Customer service needs improvement.

AVOID THIS LOCATION, worst McDonald’s in all of Fairfax with even worse service!! Wish I could give 0 stars. They are ridiculously slow and don’t care about customers.

Update: I come back to this location a 2nd time in hopes to get a refund for the item I was charged that I shouldn’t have been charged. The Hispanic lady (name starts with D) ignored me for 5 minutes then when I ask again she allows another man to cut in front of me to order without addressing my concern even though I have been waiting there for 10 minutes. Another Hispanic lady there was also rude and did not allow me to get a refund for the $3.50 fries even though I was wrongly charged. She said I need to come back when Jose the manager is there.

I go to the drive thru and guess who is there? Jose was there, the employee lied. 2 employees refuse to help me and make me wait over 20-25 min there while being ignored and servicing other customers which is discriminatory.

I asked the other female employee for help she tells me to hold on and then ignores me for 15 min and doesn’t care about my issue. I was discriminated against in favor of another customer, why would you allow someone else to cut in front of me when I was waiting here before for a while?

Update on the slow DRIVE THRU: I go another day via drive thru to redeem a free item and the young Hispanic lady in her 20s at the drive through doesn’t even say hello or anything, takes 10 minutes to service the car in front of me, and when I ask her for some ketchup with my fries she looks at me like why are you asking this and hands me ketchup but doesn’t bother extending her hand out so I have to reach over uncomfortable across my window to get it from her. What a rude attitude this employee has, McDonald’s why are you allowing your managers to hire people who treat your customers like this.

Original review: They had charged me for fries back in October that I did not order after I told them I only wanted the extra game piece that I should have received with an old order of fries that I never got. They still charged me when I did not order fries in my order. I asked for a refund from this store after contacting corporate. They said store would reach out. No phone call or contact from this store, absolutely nothing. The male manager here was wrong about the monopoly game pieces as well and how it all works. All this hassle over $4 McDonald’s. Never again.

AVOID this location!! They have a horrible lack of service because I was ignored multiple times and they don’t care about wrongly charging you and stealing money from you. I didn’t ask to order medium fries I was owed another medium fries game piece because they never gave me a game piece and the manager (Jose) had agreed to give it to me however he ended up charging me for fries instead when I did NOT order fries or ask for them. They never refunded me. Thieves over $3.50, absolutely worst McDonald’s service in the dmv. Another reviewer is right they never greet you or acknowledge you.

This branch used to be my favorite, but today it became one of the worst experiences I’ve had.
I placed my order and told the cashier not to add ice, and he said okay.

When I went to pick up my order, the manager spoke to me in a very rude and unprofessional way. I expected the manager to support the customer, not act aggressively.

I hope McDonald’s management pays more attention to how employees treat customers and also makes sure employees are treated and paid fairly, because the way I was treated today was not acceptable.

The male manager should never work in the food service industry. Not a single employee greeted me and ignored me and any other customer while I waited for my small order that I placed on the app. Fine whatever, they are busy so I can wait. Finally my order is ready but after when I went to fill up my soda there was no lids or straws. I tried to get his attention since he was behind the counter and said excuse me a few times while he just ignored me and walked away. After I said HELLO CAN YOU HEAR ME he yells back to me to give him a second. I have no problem with waiting, I have a problem with you ignoring me though. Fire this clown immediately.

They always get your order wrong (leave things out). I truly think it’s intentional and a strategy from management/ownership in order to save money by constantly shorting customers their order. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT! 9 out of 10 times, food will be missing.

I had a terrible experience at the McDonald’s in Fair Lakes. They served me a burnt chicken sandwich, and when I went back to ask if they would serve such a burnt meal to their own kids, they made us wait an unbelievable 45 minutes to cook another one. This is the worst place ever—poor service and inedible food. I will not be coming back. Stupid management
