I have been coming to this McDonald’s for more than 50 years, first as a child, then as a young adult, then as a parent, and now as a senior citizen, traveling from northern Virginia or Pennsylvania to the Eastern Shore to visit family—or now in reverse. This McDonalds has always been an oasis of deliciously prepared hot food, refreshing drinks, and in recent years, fast food’s best chocolate chip cookies. The staff here have been unfailingly kind and helpful, the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable, and the ladies’ bathroom clean. Customer satisfaction seems to be a high priority here, and it seems to be a place where all customers are welcomed and treated with respect. It is always a pleasure to break our journey here, and I hope to have many more years to do so!

*update: went in today and was served by the most lovely young person Adriana, who replaced my missing double fish sandwich with the help of her very pleasant and accommodating gentleman manager. Adriana also made quite an impression on my 11-year-old daughter who has struggled with the confidence to wear her glasses.. We had such a pleasant conversation, filled with encouraging words; she is going places in life right now we’re thrilled to have her nearby!
Love it here and always am treated well. Only problem is I paid for a double fish sandwich and didn’t see it was regular/single til I got over the bridge…I checked the bag but I didn’t open everything up.

If I could give a 0 stars I would. Listen I don’t write many reviews, let alone bad ones BUT this called for one today. As we were traveling from PA to OCMD for bike week, we stopped here for breakfast with my 2 daughters. We paid cash so we went to the counter, the lady wasnt super friendly but she wasnt rude either. She was a manager, and to save herself from the negativity and rudeness of others I won’t mention her name. She started helping us but ended up messing up. There was 4 of us, I told her what my oldest wanted then my youngest then myself and husband last. Needless to say she didnt understand I needed more then I did. When I tried to tell her after the fact she didnt charge me for what I needed and she missed my youngest order she said she would fix it. Brought the food to our table and I was still missing food. She couldn’t find half the items on the register which is just baffling to me. I gave her cash of 100.02 and out total was 29.62. She couldn’t even give me change back and had to call another manager over to help her get the register open. The food was extremely greasy, which yes I know its going to be greasy, but this today was way beyond normal grease, you could see it rolling off the steak and sausage we had. To top it all off, there was no tea containers In the lobby or even napkins for that matter it was all kept in the drive thru area and the store was down right dirty. So many tables were gross and dirty you yourself had to ask for napkins just to wipe off the grossness. Its 1020 in the morning and rush hour was over. Before anyone jumps my review, I’ve worked at a mcdonalds for 3 years and never in my entire career or even continuing to go to mcdonalds have I EVER seen one as poorly run and managed and dirty as this one! I know for a fact my store manager and franchise owners would be ringing necks if they walked into this. I am just baffled by it all. And to finish our visit off we went to the bathroom before finishing our drive to the shore and the bottom of the bathroom stalls where the door sits were rusting, the water was so hard coming out it got both me and my girls soaked on our shirts and the counter was covered in water like someone had just dumped a bucket of water on them. Overall I just wouldn’t recommend stopping here, I know truckers do because its quick and easy access to 301 but lord save your sanity and cleanliness for somewhere else. We won’t be stopping there again, we will either go to Wendy’s next door or the wawa. Very disappointed that this owner and store managers, along with the 2 on duty today let’s this store stay like this.

When we visit we encountered extremely good service. This place is very clean. A staff helped with ordering. when I go to the counter to check my order status a manager helped me to inquire about it. Whenever I stand up there would be a staff asking if I need anything. Staci came over from time to time to make sure everything is good.
I think maybe they had a new manager or is currently conducting customer surveys. Anyway, today’s visit is very satisfying.

Really great food- when they made a mistake on my burger they quickly apologized and made a new one as well as gave me a new fry because I was waiting. Clean restaurant with great staff.

Awful. No counter service, the self order kiosk didn’t have receipt paper so that slowed the fast food experience. I paid $1.26 for a bag of apple slices and it had only 2 slices….not 2 apples, but 2 apples slices. $0.63 for a single apple slice… really McDonald’s???? The only saving grace for this location was the one worker who helped me was very sweet.

We had to make an emergency pit stop for a kids’ bathroom break, and were SO happy that this place was open late (I think it’s open 24 hours, actually).
We didn’t order food because there was a small line, but we’ll definitely stop back by another time.

The price for MacDonalds is about as much as getting a burger at a sit down restaurant, but the quality is not nearly as comparable.
If you don’t have time it may be worth swinging by, but other fast food places are way better.
