This is an update to my previoys rating foe=place is deplorable! Not going to get into the service and atmosphere this time…I am concerned about the food being served at this location. There is NO WAY anyone thought the burger my family was served was cooked properly (see my photos below for the burger). The inside wasn’t just pink…IT WAS RED and just GROSS!!!!
All because my older son was trying to do a good thing, and made his brother sick instead! My younger son (for whom the elder child bought the burger) vomited just after swallowing the burger…Hopefully he doesn’t have food poisoning (only time will tell!!) This is RIDICULOUS. For as much as food costs, this is the LAST THING a person should be worried about when trying to get something to eat.
And I dont want to hear this is an isolated incident. My previous post was about a similar experience almost a year ago! So clearly there is an issue at this location! THIS IS UTTERLY SHAMEFUL!!! SHAME ON YOU GOLDEN ARCHES!!!!!!

As you can clearly see by my recent rating, the atmosphere is the best thing about this place!!! If you want burgers that have been properly cooked….AVOID THE MCDONALDS on LIBERTY RD near NORTHERN PKWY!!!
The McDonalds on Liberty off of Northern Pkwy is THE WORST for burgers!! On THREE separate occasions, I have gone there only to receive burgers that are raw. They are seared on the outside but are raw on the inside. I mean, like one of the sandwiches was so raw there was blood in the bottom of the sandwich carton!
With the other sandwiches, one site into the thing revealed red meat that wasn’t “juicy” but was instead “bloody” and the other was cold and red in the center. Surely this defies food safety laws….and NO rare, medium, or any other cooking classification was requested or expected! In each instance, the raw food was received at a different time of the day- so it can not really be pinpointed to one grill worker, in my opinion. The only thing each day had in common was that the restaurant was extremely busy…and it took longer than normal for the orders to be ready. I work in Seton Business Park (literally 5 minutes away) and was at that location waiting for my order that I placed through the mobile app for over 50 minutes of the 1 hour and 15 minutes that I was gone to “grab lunch real quick” for myself and a couple of my coworkers (luckily, most of us got nuggets that day) during what was supposed to be our 30- minute lunch break…
Eventually, the food was replaced- but that really isn’t the point. After showing the manager raw food he proceeded to dissect the sandwich less than 10 minutes after it was purchased from his establishment, acting as if I was lying about the burger being raw on 2 of the 3 occasions. There was Avery condescending apology offered, as if it was MY fault the meat was served to me undercooked!!
On the 3rd occasion, I can not remark because the coworker for whom the meal was purchased returned the food, and I can not/will not speak for her regarding the experiences with this situation.
Raw meat can make someone sick. We don’t eat meat that isn’t cooked well done… but that also doesn’t mean it needs to be burned like the food received as a replacement for the raw items. Food just needs to be cooked through so it is safe to eat. Needless to say, my family will not be visiting this McDonalds for anything any time in the foreseeable future! Is it inconvenient to drive 5 miles past this location to another that doesn’t have issues? ABSOLUTELY!!! But the location near Reisterstown and Northern Parkway is no better… so it is also not an option for my family. We may just skip McDonalds altogether from now on…that’s what I see as the best course of action!!!
Will not go to that one again.
