Not sure if the person who was preparing and passing out the food at the second window this morning (1/24/2026) was new, but he was a complete flustered mess…handing out wrong orders, forgetting food items, and causing a huge backup in the line at the window.
I ordered on the mobile app and gave my code at the call box, but I waited over 10 minutes at the window for my food. I was first handed the entirely wrong order. Then my drinks were forgotten. I had to hand over the mobile order receipt that he gave to me, just for him to read and follow, to prepare my order. I thought, “Why even order on the app, if you’ll end up ordering at the window anyway?”
When I finally got my food and drinks, the Espresso shot that I EXCLUDED from my coffee was definitely included. I was so frustrated. The hashbrowns were complete grease pockets, the biscuits were overcooked, and the eggs on my breakfast sandwich were actually burned on one side. I will likely not be returning to this location.

5 stars. One of the best McDonald’s I have seen. Staff is very friendly and super efficient. This review is based on going here regularly for a couple of years. Staff has changed several times but everyone has always been very friendly and efficient. And they do run busy on several occasions.

I had a very disturbing experience with this location. I received a sandwich that had a hair inside the food. This is a serious hygiene and food safety issue and completely unacceptable.
Food safety should be the top priority, and this experience showed a lack of proper hygiene standards. I was unable to eat the meal and had to discard it.
I hope management takes this seriously and ensures stricter cleanliness and quality control to prevent this from happening again.

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes great, but mostly bad. I ordered a bacon quarter pounder meal. There was no bacon at all on it and the fries were barely warm. And the phone number is unlisted or out of service, so I can’t call and notify for a refund. Seriously?! Done with this location.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would!!! They don’t even have a phone number listed. The service and food is so poor and disgusting that they have disconnected the phone so they don’t have to hear the countless complaints. Once, I found a plastic label sticker cooked into one of my sandwiches. I found BLOOD in one of my packs of condiments that they placed on top of my French fries and more recently… HAIR. It’s the only McDonald’s located within a reasonable distance, so I have been forced to return there on several occasions but after that last incident and my daughter reminding me that EVERY TIME WE GO out order is wrong. I now, go outta my way to the McDonald’s located in Ashburn Village Shopping Center, they get 5 stars btw. That’s a McDonald’s I have frequented for over 20 years and have NEVER HAD AN ISSUE. The food is always great, and unlike southern walk they take pride in their establishment. Bottom line, southern walk McDonald’s has Poor food and poor staff & that McDonald’s should be ashamed!!! This place needs to be investigated and closed down! Seriously!

I order from this McD through UberEats almost every weekend as either breakfast or late night junk food. They manage to mess up my order every freaking time. They either forget to add syrup for hotcakes for my kids or forget to include a 10-piece chicken nuggets or as always, mess up condiments/sauces. These guys that run this particular McD need some serious revisit on how to run.

I don’t think my order has ever been correct at this location. Constantly forgetting items and not reading basic instructions. Most recent order i asked for extra onions and the burger only had meat cheese and ketchup. It was crushed flat, it was stale, and it tasted like it had been sitting around all day. I will never understand how you can’t read a screen that tells you exactly what to do.

I am am a DoorDash and I posted before about the fact that when you go in there, everybody has their back to you and you get ignored until you yell out, but the biggest issue is whatever that lady cleans the floors with every morning leaves. The floor is extremely slippery. The floor isn’t even wet anymore and it feels like she cleaned the floors with oil. It’s extremely hard to keep from falling when I go in there in the mornings. You should do something about this before you end up with a lawsuit.
