This place has gone downhill in a very short amount of time. At one time it was one of the better McDonald’s in the area. Someone explain to me how half of my burger was cooked but the other half was literally ice cold and raw? Not only that, I was missing an entire burger from my order…

The young man at the drive thru window on (3/1 approx 9:15pm) was absolutely exceptional! He was easy going, smiling the entire time, had a great sense of humor, professional and seemed legitimately happy to be working at your establishment. He was truly a champ considering all 5 of us were a bit of a mess trying to figure out who wanted what! Not to mention he had all 5 of us ladies smiling the entire ride home after a long stressful day! GREAT EMPLOYEE!

I have ordered holiday pies there twice now this year, since I started a job in January nearby, and I noticed that the filling inside tasted dry like the moisture was cooked out of it and all you really taste is the crust. Somehow the crust is normal and doesn’t Look overcooked, but I am positive that however these are being prepared is probably resulting in an inferior result. I got 2 pies today and they were both dry. I live in Mountain Top 18707, so I went there afterwards to the McDonalds in that town to get a order there. And the McDonald’s in Mountain Top was excellent- the custard was warm and filled the inside of the pocket. The one from Wilkes Barre was dry and when you crack the pie in half, the custard shrunk and dried up alongside the bottom crust. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I hope with a little time and training this can be corrected. Also! I am sad to hear the Grinch Meal was not offered at all at the Wilkes Barre store. Participating in those sort of activities is fun and I am sure it would have been well received by the local patrons to the area. A missed opportunity. I shared this feedback on the McDonalds website. I am also sharing here for other customers to be aware that the pies are not consistent with how I have had them in the past… when a girl wants a sweet treat after a hard day at work, the last thing she wants is to bite into a sad dry dessert.

The food took over 20 minutes to get. It came out room temperature. Asked for extra salt and pepper three times. The manager was very nasty. The atmosphere was very dirty. All the tables were dirty. I called the number on the receipt to speak to the manager… She said I do not have time for this and hung up on me.

I visited this McDonald’s to buy a Happy Meal for my son. I also ordered and paid for extra fries. They only gave me one, and when I went back to ask for the missing item, the staff was very rude. The way they spoke to me was disrespectful, and I felt a discriminatory attitude that was completely unacceptable.

A customer has the right to receive what they pay for and to be treated with respect. The experience was negative, from the service to the staff’s attitude. I hope the management takes action because situations like this should not happen.

Found a lint fuzzy from the air handlers in with my french fries. Told one of the lead worker about this and seemed as if she couldn’t care. Nothing was done except a refund. It seems that pointing out things to people who are actually supposed to know safe food practices are considered rude.

I’ve never left a review in my life but I can’t hold back here. Something has to change. In 2 months I have came here 3 times and none of them were correct.
1st time- ordered quarter pounder with bacon no pickles or onions. Order came with pickles and onions. No big deal. It gets worse.
2nd time- ordered 40 dollar worth of breakfast meals for my family, I ordered a steak and cheese bagel for myself, when I got home they had given me a sausage biscuit…. When I returned they offered a refund because they no longer had any steak…
3rd time- today I went up for a family size order, 4 large fries a ten piece nugget and 2 bacon quarter pounders. I received 8 chicken nuggets, and two regular quarter pounders (missing the bacon) and they were bright red cold and not edible.

This location needs management change, or closed for business. It’s unacceptable, frustrating and a complete waste of time and money. I will never be returning to this location, or eating McDonald’s in general any time soon. Complete turnoff. 0 stars is actually the correct rating here. Do NOT waste your time or money eating here you will be disappointed.

I ordered two four piece nuggets today and only got four nuggets in total . Seems trivial but with the cost of food these days you gotta make every cent count . Otherwise it was a good lunch with speedy service .

In the drive thru and ordered two medium shakes… been in the drive thru for 15 minutes… pulled up to the window and they ask me to pull over and wait even longer… what is going on??? yall can’t get two shakes made in 15 minutes?

Food was okay. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Staff kept pulling hair back and touching their faces. Flies and Gnats flying around…

Updated from a two star to a 4 star on 20210610. Seems like they’ve done a complete turn around!!
Didnt give 5 stars because I haven’t gone in yet since the remodel.. will update soon!

Went in 20211005 and the place is much better!!! Will be returning on my way to Wilkesbarre!
