My kids and I sat at the drive thru for 5 minutes and watches 3 cars go through the other drive through line and there was no one asking to take our order. So I parked and wwnt inside to order and ask why we couldn’t be helped at the deive through. A young gentleman apologized for the inconvenience and took my order right away. As I stood there waiting for our food the young man (Nick) was hustling, serving people in the restaurant and also tending to fries and just was doing a great job. I don’t know who wasn’t doing there job on the drive thru mic but they need to be gone from public services. Thank you Nick for you efforts and because of you my family and I will return.

Ordered a Quarter pounder with cheese meal win no onions. I had to pull ahead after receiving my drink order and wait. (All I ordered was the value meal). After waiting about seven minutes or so, I got my order and drove home. When I got home and opened the container with the sandwich it looked like it was stomped on the ground and a slice of cheese thrown on it. At least they didn’t put onions on it. See picture.

Pass three times within a month.
1st time I ordered on app drive up get my items get back home completely missing 1 out of 2 meals
2nd time ordered 2 cheeseburger large fries and drink. Again drove home I am eating and 2nd sandwich has a 12” if not longer black hair in it.
3rd time ordered TWO LARGE FRIES AND 1 DOUBLE CHEESE. I GET HOME….. I HAVE 1 FRY 1 BURGER they got 50/100 right
This McDonalds has its up and down but this was just enough for me to stop going here I’d rather drive further to the one by target then this one in Dover within a month 3 things occurred and other times to this time it made me wanna write about it. Seems to have no care anymore was a decent place 5 ish years ago and prior.

They tend to be busier usually, but they keep the lines moving decently quickly most times. The food has been fresh almost everytime I go there. The staff is nice.

I never got my food. I didn’t appreciate being treated so rudely in the Drive-Thru. No question asking if am I ready to order, I get there’s a line. I don’t often eat at McDonald’s and I needed a minute to look at the menu. I told the rude young man what meal I wanted and while I was looking for non soda drink options he just kept on repeating himself with a more inconsiderate tone as he went on. Didn’t even give me the opportunity to ask can you give me a moment, nothing. Just kept on with an attitude and asking are you going to order a drink?!
I’m sorry but McDonald’s of Dover your drive-thru attendance need to do better.

Young man, if you don’t like working with people or have the patience then move to the fryer!! Your tude because I wasn’t fast enough for you was not positive customer service experience, that’s why I left the drive thru. Hope you realize not everyone wants to be spoken to with an attitude.
Update… left parking lot of MCDONALD’S,
Made a right, took road to end, made another right, made a left into WAWA, walked in… ordered food, everyone nice and happy… received food quickly, healthier options and cost less! Yes, there was a line but everyone smiled and made the best of it.
The photo… a bunless burger with Avocado and chipotle sauce. Less calories and much healthier than the crap from McDonald’s and if you want fries they make fries too definitely not going to McDonald’s anymore

From actually being a customer and a doordasher. They bring in a lot of disrespectful customers, and workers. Like my husband walked in yesterday doordashing and some kid threw a French fry at him and cussed at him while waiting for the doordash. He did absolutely nothing besides stand there an wait this is what this store brings in. Not to mind the food is always cold.

There is now a $0.25 upcharge for extra pickles. Also asked for extra Mac sauce $0.79. The sause was not on the side and 4 pickles. On top of the MANY other times I’ve been here and the order is wrong or we’re missing sause for nuggets. They have usually fixed it next visit. But doesn’t help day of when your missing food and hungry. Also a 4 year old that’s very specific about her hot mustard. I’ll drive the extra mile or to down the road to the other McDonald’s location. Where the prices are cheaper and they don’t charge crazy prices for extras.

Good overall, but I got a Vanilla cone and they gave it to me upside down in a dish because it wasn’t cold enough to not be melting! Oh McDonald’s, are ANY of your ice cream machines working? Ever?
