Worst place in Carlisle!!! Service was awful…. customer service/cashiers were NOT friendly and acted like everything was a bother to them, food was cold, fries tasted like they were a day old, my chicken sandwich even had a bone in it!! GROSS! Not to mention…. Every time we go through the drive through we have to park and wait for the food which takes sometimes 15-20 mins. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE & UNACCEPTABLE!!!

The people working there need to learn to respect the customers and do a better job!!

Ill never go there AGAIN!!!

Usually I’m a pretty patient person but today’s experience has me tearing my hair out. I usually avoid ordering lunch because of past experiences but breakfast is usually good. Something’s obviously changed. I had a birthday coupon which is why I decided to chance McDonald’s today. However, I placed my order around 8:45 am and arrived around 9:20 am. They seemed to be busy and my app said I couldn’t cancel because it was being made so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited… and waited… and waited for about 20 minutes. Eventually I was one of the only people still standing there so I decided to speak up. “hey just wanna make sure my mobile order isn’t just floating around back there, I ordered about an hour ago.” The guy up front seemed pretty cool but what I’m assuming was the supervisor of manager for the shift came up and asked me for a code. It’s a counter pick up which normally doesn’t have a code, and the order had timed out on my app. I told her I couldn’t find a code but I showed her my recent orders. She then proceeded to say “do you have it under recent orders” and reiterated that I was showing her just that. She then mumbled something about mobile orders and codes and then just walked off. I assumed she was just gonna make the food that I showed her. Silly me. Maybe about two more minutes passed and I see she’s still making other orders and completely ignoring my presence. I asked the cool employee up front if he could check if it’s actually being made. He asked and she proceeded to tell me, once again, that she had no mobile orders and can’t make it even though I just showed her that I ordered it. I then asked if I could at least get a refund and she said “it should refund in 24 hours” which I KNOW was malarkey. So I left, late for work, no money, no food. I am NEVER giving them the benefit of the doubt again and most certainly avoiding this location like the plague. Brunette supervisor with the glasses (I wish I’d gotten her name but I was late and in a blind rage) you need to be fired.

No sausage in my “sausage” biscuit. Pretty
Obvious there was never any meat in it. They don’t even offer plain biscuits on the menu.

Update: thought I’d try again. Here’s another sausage biscuit and it only has egg and cheese. I didn’t order egg or cheese. Maybe this is my fault. Perhaps the sausage doesn’t exist and they’re just tell slapping any old thing on a biscuit?

I ordered breakfast through Uber Eats from this McDonald’s on October 13, 2025, around 10:12 AM. When the Uber driver arrived, the woman in charge of the morning shift refused to give my order, saying breakfast was over, and told the driver to tell me to cancel. Because of that, Uber wouldn’t let me cancel without being charged full price — I ended up losing over $30.

I even called the store directly, politely asking if they could replace my order with something from the lunch menu. She refused, was rude, hung up on me, and never answered again. I went in person later to explain the situation to another manager, but nothing was done.

The issue wasn’t just the food — it was the attitude and lack of care from the morning manager. Completely unprofessional experience.

Food was hot, flavorful, and how McDonald’s food should be. Service was crap. Did mobile order. Took little bit for food to come but wasn’t bad. Asked him where our drinks are, he said “oh ill go get” we waited 7 minutes and watched him bring many other car orders out. We waved at him and he went back in. Only to come out with other food. We got out to go in to get and asked him if he forgot, he was quite rude about it. He came inside while we were in there and we asked for him to please get our drinks to which he walked around the counter and got them. The ice was melted and was not filled but we grabbed and left. It was the only complaint at this McDonald’s.

One of the worst McDonald’s. I do curbside order and almost every time I have to wait 10 minutes and have to go in to get my food. Half the time the orders are never right either. Especially today’s order that I didn’t notice till i opened the box.

Went to this store got my food usually the chicken sandwiches most of the time they r very over cooked & the ends are hard but once in awhile they do get it right so went there yesterday ordered the chicken sandwiches as usual I ask for hot mustard sauce got one for 4 sandwiches seriously if u can’t properly treat your customers right what’s the point also I even offered to buy one more at least so the girl at the window got smart mouthed with me about it that girl shouldn’t be at the window working I can’t believe this place guess it’s the world we live in today I usually see the reddish haired gentleman at the window he’s very nice & descent to people to big shout out to you for having manners not sure what your name is Carlisle high st store but u deserve a raise your momma raised you right thank you for good service back to the food if I buy 4 chicken sandwiches why the heck would one sauce be enough I ask u people who own these places would u eat your food without your proper topping seasoning my point is don’t do it to your customers it’s bad business

The only reason why I give five stars is only to the employee by the name of Shante. I was waiting for a long time. She was very apologetic and she was understanding and made sure my food was fresh and hot so I just wanted to give her the recognition that she deserves.
