Wish you could give negative stars on here! Service is terrible, especially if it’s around lunch and you have a problem they will just lie so they don’t have to help you! Terrible workers and Service over all! There are two other McDonald’s in this area go to one of them not this one on Scalpe Ave. In Richland, Johnstown. And honestly the one down town is not that great but probably still better than this one! The one by the mall is the best though!

I just got Drive ThruThis was the best McDonalds experience I have had since the early 2000’s! The burgers had a sear on them, the nuggets were actually crispy, and the fries were almost scalding hot(in the best way)! I went and thanked and tipped the staff. Everyone was extremely nice!

I asked them to make our food order fresh and they said they would. However, chicken nuggets were cold and tough, cheese on the burger had just been put on a heat light pattie and not even melted. Fries were old. Not going to this McDonald’s again.

It’s been a long time since I came to a McDonald’s and didn’t leave pissed off. My food didn’t take forever, my order wasn’t messed up, when I asked for salt I didn’t feel like an inconvenience for it, they weren’t in the back cussing and yelling, they were actually working. I’m actually impressed!

Staff are friendly, and the service is usually very quick. The problem lies with how poorly they slap the food together. See the pictures for reference. I would be embarrassed to let food leave my kitchen like that.

Edit: a couple days after posting this, the owner called me on the telephone to talk with me. She was super nice and apologized. She said she would take measures to correct this and send me some coupons to use for the inconvenience. She is very nice and I can tell she cares deeply about her business. Thank you for your professionalism in taking care of this matter. I will definitely be back!
My mom came back from McDonald’s on Scalp Avenue in Johnstown (5 minutes away) and my Double Quarter Pounder with cheese was so dry…the meat was like leather and same with the cheese. There was one small piece of onion on it and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t even in the correct bun. It was awful and even the writing on the box said “FRESH BEEF cooked when you order, but there’s no way this could have been sitting less than an hour or two. The only slightly saving grace was the fries. They weren’t fresh but at least they were edible.

I went on scalp ave to McDonald’s on my break last night I order the 10 piece nuggets and I was able to receive a quarter pounder for a dollar the burger was for my 7year old who ate half before she realized it…I’m pissed right now this is unacceptable to even serve someone anything like this hopefully she don’t get sick or it’s definitely gyro be a big issue I am beyond pissed I will be up there early in the morning

Edit: I was told by the manager on the day that I received this awful food that I would receive coupons in the mail. They Lied, I have never received them and when I called and asked about, they told me that they never give coupons out.
I guess they will blame the onions for the rotten food.
I ordered two sausage McMuffin with eggs, and there is something wrong with them. They taste awful, and there is something green on the egg. I called the restaurant, and the lady who answered didn’t seem to care too much about it. I gave my information and we will see if they return my call. See pictures.
