Was running late for work and dove in here to have some MCDs for the first time in a while, partially for nourishment, partially for the monopoly game. Harry was super understanding when I told him I’m running late and helped put some pep in my order being produced. Also a very clean environment. I knew going in this experience would make or break my McDonalds commitment. Definitely made it! Well done.

This is the worst mcdonalds in eastern pittsburgh. I stopped coming to this location entirely as the last 4 visits have always ended up with incompetency, lack of food safety, and poor service. Definitely needs new leadership. Avoiding outright for the next few years before I give it another chance. Can only be dissapointed so many times as a local. How hard is it to give the right order, not have food sit for more than 2 hours before serving, maintain basic standards, not grab food with a bandaid and no glove, clean the mold from the ice chutes, and have any sense of internal accountability?

Updated: I was in contact with a Renee at corporate, she was very nice! She took the time to listen to my complaints with this location and rectified it. Thank you Renee! I hope this location gets better! Update: Google wants me to update my review on this McDonald’s location. My sister has been here a couple weeks ago. Nothing has changed. They’re still messing ppls orders up. I LOVE the saltsburg location. I went to this McDonald’s yesterday and had a Big Mac value meal , no pickle. Large size. I had no top burger,no top condiments or cheese! About 2 months ago I ordered a double quarter pounder value meal no pickle and they left my burger on the counter! I called. They never gave me the money or burger back! Pictures uploaded. #Update 3/6/2021… I don’t know why I went to this location again but my order was messed up AGAIN. The new crispy chicken is tiny and soggy. The large fries turned out to be small fries! I call whenever they messed my order up the last time the promised they would send free coupons. That was last year some time. I never received them. I will NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN! I will travel 5 miles out my way and go to saltsburgh Rd! More pics uploaded and reciept.

Ordered a big Mac meal the big Mac only had one burger patty. Got the whole bun but not two patties like it was supposed to be. I didn’t find out until I got home. I wasn’t going to drive 7 or 8 miles and spend gas .I would just lose more money.

If I can rate this place a negative 10 I would the customer service is horrible.today 9/19/2022 I stopped on my way home to get a McFlurry and an apple pie. I drive home sit down to eat my McFlurry While eating my McFlurry I discover there was a black bug I thought it was a Oreo. I calls and speak with the manger night manager to tell them what happened. He was very rude kept cutting me off he said “he can make me another”, NO.. I dont not want another than he going to say “he have orders and cant help me” than he going to say He have to see the bug I said SIR so u want me to bring the bug back wow!!!!! I was so mad all i wanted was my money back and just wanted some clarity that it will be cleaned before serving the next customer. In all the years this has never happened too me and very rude for the manager to treat me like I always call with a very large issue like this the manger name he gave me was Sesrivers

Extended wait in line only to get a cold order that was only 50% right. The gentleman at the window read it back as it was ordered….and it was still wrong.
This is not the first, second, or third time…many more! It is not a pattern, rather a management scheme passed to all employees and encouraged by the managers!

Ordered breakfast through door dash at 10am. Driver gets there at 10:29am and they tell him they can’t make the food because breakfast is over. You had 30 minutes to make the order but decided not to. Embarrassing.

This restaurant is an absolute disaster. I have gone here many times, as I have lived in the area for a few years now. The only thing I can think of, if giving the benefit of the doubt, that the employees have a vendetta against me.
I have ordered “one sweet and one unsweet” iced tea and drove away with two sweet teas many times. I have said “no onions” and drove away with burgers covered in onions many times. The part that I can’t get over is that the order was taken right; the receipt says exactly what I ordered.
I have no idea why I kept going back to this awful place, but maybe because recently they remodeled their dining room and I guess I wanted to have faith in a second chance. Nope.
I will never go to this restaurant again, even if they offered to pay for my food. As you can see from my images, the chicken is hard as a rock and not “juicy” as advertised on TV and on the screens in their drive thru. In fact, it’s more reminiscent to chicken jerky with little flavor; extremely dry meat.
My burger had an actual footprint on it and was smashed and covered in grease. The meat patty is actually black and smells foul.
This is probably not the image that the original founders of McDonald’s had for it’s customers and this restaurant location alone has ruined mine, my family’s, and friend’s image of the franchise.
I fully do not recommend going to this location. If you insist on going to McDonald’s, I would recommended any other location, as none would be worse than this. But, as my motto for PGHBR stands, I won’t tell you what to do, just offer recommendations. You make your own opinion.

This place has got to be the worse! Especially at night. Even when they are not busy and there’s only 2 cars in the drive thru (me being one of them) I still wait atleast 10 minutes. Their fries taste like they have been sitting for half the day, and their nuggets always look undercooked or have some type of white coating looking substance
It’s pretty bad when my 5 year old questions the way their food always comes out. Asks me if we can go to another McDonald’s instead of the one down the road from our house
