Waited 25 minutes in the drive thru from the time I ordered until the second window. To be given ice cold fries and cheeseburgers. The orders ahead weren’t even big orders. This is the most consistently embarrassing McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Do yourselves a favor and drive to herkimer because it’ll be both faster and better than this dumpster fire.

The issue focused on how they have bad staff and just hang up on you while you’re trying to talk i asked if they took 100$ bills and this boy just hung up? nevertheless i also sat in the drive thru for about 30 minutes! But to be fair their prices are pretty good, but my fries are usually soggy and cold, the grinch salt tasted like cat litter, and they have teens who do not enjoy their job and are just rude every moment i go there. But there is some kind people that work there.

I’m really frustrated with this experience at the Ilion location. I’ve been very sick and tried ordering a frappe for delivery on different days, and each time the app showed it as available. After placing the order, I was told the machine was broken and that I had to cancel it myself and request a refund.
Now I have to wait 3–5 days to get back $15 for an order where the item I wanted was only $6. If the machine isn’t working, the app should not list it as available. It’s misleading, wastes customers’ time, and ties up their money for something they never received—especially frustrating when you’re sick and relying on delivery.
Management at this location really needs to fix their system so customers aren’t repeatedly charged for items the store can’t actually make

It’s McDonald’s. There not much to say about the food or the atmosphere. Of you don’t know what one looks like, i don’t think reviews will help you much.
However, this McDonald’s has horrible service. On 4 visits, they’ve gotten 2 orders wrong. On the separate 3rd visit, I waited at the window for 15 minutes. How do I know? Window guy answered his manager about the timing replying 900 seconds (15 mins) at the window. To which she loudly replied, “900 seconds?!” I got my food less than 30 seconds later.
My first visit, (wrong order – added too much to the happy meal when recipient can’t eat onions, ketchup on the cheeseburger), I heard two people complaining about wrong orders and not getting monopoly pieces from their order. The manager couldn’t exchange (customer threw the order away instead of returning it) and they would not comp the monopoly piece even though the customer was not told that the QP w/chs pieces were out of stock.

Too many young kids working there that just don’t give a crap about their job. Went for lunch couple weeks ago. They not only got the burgers wrong but also gave me someone else’s order. Fries were stale. Had to call and complain and then go back. We waited for our order for just about 25 minutes

I placed an order and drove about 15 minutes to pick it up. When I got home, I realized my order was made incorrectly. I immediately drove another 15 minutes back to the restaurant to have it corrected.
However, when I arrived, the manager refused to remake my food, took the incorrect order back, and only gave me a refund — she was upset that I called her and insisted on a refund because I did not plan on returning to the store however she insisted I har to return. wasting nearly an hour of my time and both trips. I left with no food and a very disappointing experience because she still insisted on refunding me instead of just remaking my food after I already travelled back and forth so far.
I understand mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was extremely inconvenient and unprofessional and they have messed my food up NUMEROUS times. Me and my boyfriend both agreed to no longer buy food from this mcdonald’s.

****Update to review. Adding a photo about the mustard on my sandwich. Get it together people this is just unacceptable.***** I’m changing my review to one star I got into the drive thru and already 1 person drive out of the lane, the car ahead of me was waiting for over 5 min she left I pulled up and waiting a total of over 10 minutes with nothing not even I’ll be right with you or anything so I left. You need to communicate with your customers if you’re having an issue your need to let them know you’re not forgotten about. I wanted a steak egg and cheese bagel I left boonville at my work starving to come home to eat this and nothing. I’m absolutely appalled by this because it’s not the first time I’ve had to do this

When I first walked in I overheard an argument in the back and a male cook being upset that people want special requests done to burgers. “Next time someone asks for extra pickles I’ll give them just a pickle sandwich(angrily)” the comment almost made me not ask for extra sauce and I do wish I did because instead of maybe double they practically drowned my big Mac. All 4 patties to the 2 big macs were burnt. The buns were rock hard. The onions were burnt on the one that asked for extra and fine on the one that did not (the one drowning). The burnt onion one also did not have any pickles. Each big Mac had one special request. The two chicken sandwich were also overcooked and hard to get your teeth into. Fries were perfect. I didn’t catch her name but there was a kind lady with blonde hair and was wearing a blue claw clip. Thanks for being kind

Resteraunt wasnt able to make a Big mac sandwich subbed with 1/4 patties. Service wasn’t friendly. Wait time in the drive threw was unreal. If there was anything else in ilion that allowed me to be as lazy as mcdonalds does, I would 100% spend my money with them.
