Late night drive thru when we were on our way to EWR. We were super hungry after a 9 hour flight to JFK and then having to drive to EWR late night early morning. Their staff at the drive thru were friendly and got the food out quickly. We went through around midnight and they had a decent line of cars. Everything moved smoothly and they were quick handling all the cars.

Usually is my go-to place after work, but last night was one of those instances that just did it for me.
The lines at night always go out towards the main road, and the service is either quick, or super slow. Last night, I waited almost 30 minutes in line with a mobile order completed for some nuggets. I get to the speaker, only for them to say that they’re not taking mobile orders and doing “cash only”. after making everyone else in line wait all that time as well and not getting food, that’s messed up.

It’s a usual McDonald’s. Great pit stop. Great service. Usual excellent food. They met my customization needs purrfectly (no bun, coffee customization) and speedily.
There was practically no queue as the service was super fast. I met one of their staff in the parking and he was super kind. If anything, he was grateful for every visitor so that he could work there. That was a touching moment to see such dedication and customer friendliness among staff.
