it takes a minimum of 20 mins to go through the drive thru at this specific location between 11pm-6am, even if there are no other cars in the drive thru.
during the day this location is fine and ive never had a problem but its like they employee a skeleton crew of beginners at night. painfully slow.

I always stop by this McDonald’s after shopping at TJ Maxx. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, the food is fresh, and the place is always clean. It just feels nice coming here every time. Definitely my favorite McDonald’s in the area.

We went to the McDonald’s in Danbury after our Yankees @ Brewera game. I had a Double Quarter Pounder with light ketchup, light mustard, no pickles, no onions, and I had it well done. I also made it a large meal with large fries and a large shamrock shake. Sharon had a McDouble with no pickles and no onions. She also had small fries and nothing to drink. The exterior, for some reason, looks like their old McDonald’s from the late 60s/early 70s. Not all McDonald’s look like that anymore. But this is the last standing old McDonald’s in Danbury. I was tempted to get Krispy Kreme on the way home, but Sharon said that I had enough for tonight. Thank you, Danbury, for the best dinner ever.

I get it only so many restaurants open late but why does it take over half an hour to go through drive-through and it is almost a nightly occurrence. There are some nights where they’re quick but mostly it’s always 20 to 30 minutes to go through the drive-through and there’s not even a lot of cars

My partner went to get dinner specifically to get the Grinch meal, we really wanted to try the dill pickle seasoning. When he got home we were super excited and opened the boxes and after a few confusing seconds… no seasoning packs.. then hes like “uhh.. they didnt even give me frys at all!?” Yup. No fries. He got a box with 10 nuggets and socks, NOTHING ELS IN THE BOX. We tried to call, three times, they arnt picking up. Tried calling the cooperate line.. also not picking up..

However nice the decor may be, price is always what someone is looking for when going to McDonald’s. I excpet dollar menu items, but I’m met with a disappointing $1.59 menu. This location needs to find a way to lower their prices, they would do a lot more business. There really was nothing wrong with the functionality of the location, but the prices are what ultimately matters in fast food.

Staff is pretty much always rude. Out of the past year I’ve been, only 1 visit had food that I’d rate as decent. The other times it’s been saltless and lukewarm with missing items in the bag constantly. Over it, never coming back.
Edit: just saw another comment from about a month ago that someone got food poisoning here. I have had gnarly tasting nuggets here and projectile vomited and had vomit episodes 12-18 hours after eating the sus nugget. Not saying it was the nugget but def a coincidence. Maybe worth investigating.

This place is so slow past 8pm. Workers do not speak english well and get annoyed when they have to repeat what they said. Sometimes I will be the only car in drive though at night and still have to wait for 10 min or more.
