I have eaten at this restaurant for many years, and the food is generally good and served fresh. A major fault with McDonalds is a lack of new menu items and the disappearance of previous offerings such as salads etc. Last year McDonalds finally came out with a new chicken offering called McCrispy Strips which I think should be compared to Coke’s disastrous introduction of New Coke in which a century old formula was changed and flatly rejected by consumers. Take a look at the pictures of McCrispy strips – they have zero eye appeal, are not crispy and the so called golden breading is soggy and relatively tasteless. Big companies don’t like to mess around with what has worked for decades but not offering new products is why so many competitors such as Shake Shack and Five Guys have had explosive growth by offering innovative burger options while McDonalds stays with a decade’s old menu.

Customers are never greeted, I observed a customer at the cash register waiting for somebody to come take his order and I told the lady at the pickup window that there was somebody there and she said don’t worry he just works here It doesn’t matter if you work there or not he was a paying customer, I told the guy sorry but I tried but he just shrugged his shoulders. I know this is a very busy McDonald’s and the drive-thru is open 24 hours but you still need to do your job as an employee to make sure the customer is happy I’ve noticed a lot of DoorDash and Uber eat drivers there frustrated because the orders were taking so long this place and other places like this need dedicated areas to just work on mobile and door dash as well as Uber eats orders that way they get in and out really fast

11/20/2025 Update: straight up uncooked chicken, realized halfway through that this sandwich was way too rubbery to actually be eaten and opened it to a pink gross nightmare. Yikes.
9/16/2025 Update: FRIES COMPLETELY COLD and not even full. Delivery woman was 5 minutes away and already in the lot to pick up the food, they sent out the food like this. Drink was also completely melted might as well ordered a reg coffee.
Old review: The last time I ordered from here they gave me drinks that were melted and not even completely full. The McFlurry was LIGHTLY covered in Oreo and not mixed. Save yourself the money and make that at home. Just overall wrong. The only thing good was the taste of the chicken sandwich after I wiped off the pound of mayo it came with.

I have ordered breakfast at this McDonald’s so far 3 times since I moved to Derby and I have to say that the breakfast staff are friendly but the breakfast is always cold. My burritos need to be hot and should be hot. Wasted my money 3 times as I did not want to get sick due to food being improperly cooked. This is a major issue!!

Hey, let this McDonald’s go out business. 2nd shift can’t handle their emotions when they do an order wrong. I’m sorry the children working behind the counter feel the need to project all their insecurities on a customer, but ya’ll aint the only McDonald’s in the area and Duchess and Taco Bell are better options. Let’s be real honest here. When I called, they left the phone off the hook. I’ll be putting a report with the BBB soon after this. Just liquidate these employees. They’re useless.

Every time I use a coupon here they lower the portions. Like it comes out of there pay check. I ordered the $1 large fries and this is the ONLY McDonald’s that does this. This is a picture of 2 large fries.

I’m uber driver so when I went to go pick up customer’s , I decides to order my food as well. All I ordered was double cheeseburger. So when I got the foods and delivered, let me eat my food.
I ate my burger and there’s about 1/4 left of burger so I ate most of it. Until I felt something In my mouth

ordered a hamburger with extra pickles and onions. Got a hamburger with extra pickles and mustard only. Such a simple order and still wrong. Oh and no game pieces in my $5 medium french fries!
