Very clean and modern establishment with self serving order kiosks and polite staff. Manager was friendly and gave a free meal coupon for an erroneous order.

Curbside order: Waited 30 minutes for incomplete meal. Spoke to associate and she said she’d be back out with remaining order. 30 more minutes later- nothing. Tried to call repeatedly and no answer. Went inside and was told they were too busy to look back. Had to argue to get missing item. Food was cold by the time we were able to eat. This location is consistently getting worse and worse.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The red head manger was beyond rude. I had a mobile order for the drive thru but I had ordered it 20 mins ago and the line was wrapped around the building so I went inside instead to pick it up. Well the manager did not like that and was incredibly rude. She mumbled rude comments about me to other workers, rolled her eyes, and tossed the bag of food on the counter without saying anything. We spent $70 here for lunch for our family. Will not be coming back because of her.

Horrible service. Orders are constantly screwed up. If you order curbside pickup be prepared to just be straight up forgotten about. If you pre order and go through the drive through be prepared to be told to pull to the side and be forgotten about.
You would be better served going to Hannaford’s across the street and shoveling a cold can of beefaroni down your throat that giving this awful establishment more money

I usually do not have a problem with the staff of this establishment. But recently when I come in to get food one employee throws my food, along with my friends food onto the counter aggressively. To the point it might not even make it onto the counter. Along with nasty glares constantly. They have short black hair and short. This is a problem since it’s every time I come in when they are on shift.

Terribly long wait times is the normal. The manager is rude and gossips about customers to other employees. The food is usually of good quality unless you’ve waited and it’s sat just as long as you’ve waited.

This Machias location was a little dirty today. I haven’t been there in awhile (and usually drive thru). My autistic son and we sat inside because he and wanted to eat-in. I almost left when we went to get our drinks there was a dark, stinking liquid beside the soda machine (smelled like puke). I had to wipe our table. We had a good time despite the unkept establishment.

The place was a disaster! Bathrooms were horrible, floor in the lobby was sticky. Beverage machine had soda sprayed on the front and the water didn’t work! We had an issue with the order kiosk and the manager rattled off a quick response and didn’t offer to help. We almost walked out at that point!

Thank goodness this place had Wi Fi and was open for business. There are very few places to eat in Machias, Maine. On a nostalgia note, this is the Easternmost McDonalds location in the United States. Kim the Manager told me to see Jasper Beach during adventure and I did. Absolutely fantastic recommendation.

Second time literally since I’ve moved back home. Horrible service. The worst ever. It doesn’t make sense. It takes NOTHING to be cordial. No manners in the least. Even hang up with out so much as “goodbye”. I have stopped there for others as a kind gesture. Today it was a happy meal for a Lil girl. It was way busy. Her parents waited for a while. But, totally not McDonald’s fault at all. It was lunch hour for many. First time they did the order completely wrong. He wouldn’t return so I called. I had to come back immediately with the order, regardless of it being a down day. He was as rash as he was on the phone. But the manager? made it good. She didn’t address me so I’m not sure. I say 3 star on Atmosphere. Because there is no place I love more than my home of DownEast Maine. No other place I’d rather be. It is sad we are all going through so many changes and hardship. So many things unthought of…either way. No matter the day or situation. God truly has graced us with so much beauty and the biggest gift. When you’re oit and about there are lots of good to grasp onto. Sorry for the bad reviews but I speak true. Be sure to check your bags and maybe have compassion for the ones who lack with their duties. Maybe their world is worse than I can imagine myself.
