I honestly do not understand the one star reviews. I live nearby and come to this McDonald’s about once a month for many years, and I always go inside so I can see the employees.
I have never had any of the problems people are complaining about. Sure, it is a bunch of kids working here, just like any McDonald’s out there, it is a very popular job for young people because the work is relatively simple and the hours are flexible.
That being said the staff is generally good. They are attentive to their tasks and fill orders at a reasonable pace. Sure, if there’s 30 people waiting in line at the drive through things will slow down a bit, but be honest with yourself: You’re sitting in the drive through because you can’t be bothered to do something else.
I’ve never had any issues with the food, aside from the ever present lack of quality that McDonald’s represents these days, but that is a corporate issue, not the staff’s fault.
Overall this is a fairly typical McDonald’s, things run reasonably well enough, but for Pete’s sake someone replace the receipt roll in the damn order kiosk it’s been three months already this is unbelievable my day has been ruined and it’s ALL YOUR FAULT!!

It’s a McDonald’s. Honestly, what do you want me to tell you?
My food was hot, mostly hot, fries could have been heated.
Very clean. Tidy location right at the rotary on 28 on the way up through Alton. People are friendly and even the customers were enjoying themselves.

Was a quick pity stop on my way home from my long work day and hour and a half drive home. Staff was nice and attentive. The food was actually warm and fresh (chicken nuggets), and the chocolate milk shake with whip cream was great! Prices are crazy, but was actually worth it this time. Hardly ever go to McDonald’s, but this hit the spot. 🙂

Went in around 12:30ish in the afternoon on a Sunday expecting hot, fresh food. Nope. Burger tasted as it had sat for awhile and was literally just “thrown” together. Fries were cold and rubbery. Will not be back.

I had a very unpleasant experience as a single mother. I was trying to feed my children with the only money I had available and was greeting by a male employee who (unprovoked) harassed me!! He looked at me, knowing I had my two children with me. He said “I don’t wear panties”. I am sick to my stomach. What is wrong with this world.

Had to mix my own McFlurry at home because they simply didn’t do it I dump it out to find little to no topping. Way too overpriced to pay for plain vanilla soft serve. Train your employees better.
