It was a very late stop in our way to Maine. No matter. Service was as professional and fast as always. The meals were “just like the photo” quality and delicious. Love that Filet-O-Fish sandwich!! Years since I had one.
Our drive through representative was a cheerful and professional young lady. Just what we always want from McDonald’s!

This is by far the worst I’ve been to. I went Monday night, just out working 12 hours, I didn’t even notice the sign that said the Grinch Meals sold out, I ordered 10 piece nugget grinch meal, again not noticing the sign, she said No, I said no, then I saw the sign, I said ok, could I have a 6 piece nugget and large diet coke, she said No, I said are you sold out of nuggets, she said no! I said, is there a manager, she said no. I said , do you even want my business, she said no, drive up! Nooo, I drove off and will never, ever go back there! I went to Montvale Ave McDonalds, and oh my goodness, what a difference! Hi, can I help you, I got my Grinch meal, they asked if I needed anything else, I said no but thank you, they said Thank you, please drive around, the man who i paid repeated my order before I paid. Said Thank you, drove to the food window, I got a hello, how are you, they said one 10 piece nugget Grinch Meal with a large diet coke, I said yes thank you, I got a thank you! I couldn’t resist saying could someone please go train the Reading store, he remained professional and just smiled. I thanked him for a nice experience! He said Im glad and Thank you. Go to the Montvale Ave McDonald’s, I have never had a bad experience there!

Terrible service. Imagine being this greedy and desperate for money as a franchise owner. Why are you delivering and taking orders going to Cambridge, Lowell, Newbury Port, etc. Service is slow, local and in store customers are ignored, yet I get 20 different orders from here going to Cambridge, Lynn, Bedford, Chelmsford, Lowell, Methuen, etc.
Sorry they cant help you or serve you here, they have to make a happy meal for a guy in Worcester with a $3 tip.

This place has the worst customer service! This morning I placed a mobile order to be ready when I get there and the lady at the drive thru was extremely rude asked me to park even tho I ordered ahead had to wait anyways so I don’t understand the point of ordering ahead. I had to go inside to get my order and it was still not ready. When I asked for an estimate on time since I had to bring my kid to his appointment she ignored me then came and gave me my order mins after I asked her for her name she said she didn’t know as she rolled her eyes walking away. She should be working in the back making sandwiches not serving customers with that attitude. She should have stayed home today if she was going to be in that pissy mood.

Very bad service at the McDonald’s in Reading, MA. I repeated my order 3 times in the drive-thru and they still didn’t enter it correctly. When I got to the window, neither the employee nor the manager wanted to fix or charge the missing items. They told me I had to go all the way back and do the drive-thru line again. And to make it worse — they didn’t even give me the complete order at the end.
This shows a complete lack of customer service, attention, and training in this location. Horrible experience. I do not recommend this McDonald’s.

I ordered a McFlurry and it came completely unmixed. When I asked about it, the staff kept saying “1 sec, 1 sec” and made me wait 15 minutes just to hand me a properly mixed McFlurry. The delay was unnecessary and the service felt dismissive. A simple request turned into a long wait, which was really disappointing.

Bad service, says allows 3 promo codes but only lets me get 2
Employees says boss doesn’t want to give out promo because I didn’t spend money. During a promotion that McDonald’s does during its our work promo.
Apparently the boss is not in and they will not refund the accounts as well.

Despite all of the negative reviews I had a pretty positive experience at this McDonald’s location. I ordered through the app and picked up in store without incident and the employees were very polite and kind. Also, this is one of the very few McDonald’s in the area that still retains the classic architecture including the iconic Mansard Roof. It’s not long before it will eventually be remodeled to become one of the newer uglier box designs, so be sure to check them out before that happens.

I like coming here, but we always have to check the order, there’s always something missing, I just didn’t know that now I have to check inside the sandwich to see if it has cheese, this is the second time I’ve paid for extra cheese on my daughter’s sandwich and it doesn’t come.

I placed a mobile order for 2 breakfast meals and it took 37 minutes to be ready. After the “I hate my job, who cares if the food is cooked thoroughly or if the order is correct” attitude from the employees. I got an eye roll and sigh from the manager when I had the audacity to ask for napkins. Then to top it all off there was a bug in my OJ. Of course I told the manager and wanted a new one. Which I received while the manager mumbled under his breath and slid the new OJ from about 2 ft down the counter. But at least the dinning room was clean.
