I chose this McDonald’s because:
A) We were on our way to an event nearby
B) My kids wanted McDonald’s french fries
C) This McDonald’s had the better Google Maps reviews out of the three McDonald’s in Methuen.
The food is, well, McDonald’s. My kids love the french fries . I will only eat at a McDonald’s if I am really hungry, which I was.
I ordered online and the wait for our food was reasonable. They got most of the orders correct. My issue with the drink order was minor. They did include ketchup and napkins in the orders.
I asked politely for our table to be wiped down because the previous customers were a little messy. An associate did and it was appreciated. Another associate came out later and wiped down the other tables.
Not all of the associates speak ️ English which can make communication a little challenging.
The outside parking ️ area was in good condition.
This McDonald’s was better than I expected.

Chocolate Covered Creations
Every I come here it’s an extremely long wait. I went today for lunch and sat at the window to pay for a good minute. Wasn’t acknowledged, the cashier walked away a few times before actually taking payment. I go to the next window, got my food. Get home, Fries were old and stale and not only that but I find something weird in my sandwich halfway through eating it. I shouldn’t be finding anything but what I ordered in my food. Unacceptable.

The fries were really cold cold, I understand when come a little xoxo but I couldn’t eat it, also the sandwich I put not cut pickles and there were pickles and the person was allegic to pickles next time please kitchen be carefully when food have some specific stuff and not cheese when I put cheese

Went through the drive-thru on my last visit. New staff, I noticed, so customer service is getting better. Glad they’re adding napkins in the bags for drive- thru customers. Looks like no more, no napkin trips lol. But prices for me are still an issue for this franchise.
2 drive thru lanes available. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner peak hours are typically visit busy. Not noticing much usage for the number pickup spots.
Inside is usually clean. Table, booth seating. Handicap accessible. I have also not noticed a sign for the deaf regarding picture menu’s. I hope that changes!

I ordered “chocolate milkshake”!!!
First she gave me a coffee,
I said I ordered a chocolate milkshake.
Then she gave me a chocolate milk,
I said I ordered a chocolate milkshake.
Finally, she gave me a vanilla milkshake,
I said I ordered a chocolate milkshake.
This time, She responded “This IS a chocolate milkshake!!!”,
I said nop its white! Chocolate milkshake is NOT white. (Unless MCD all the sudden has white chocolate??!!)
She still tried to argue with me few more times, I guess she try to test if I am color blind?!
Eventually she turned around and asked other people and a gentleman made me a “chocolate milkshake” which is NOT white.
I am completely shocked!!! I’ve never had this kind of experience before. Im not sure if she just couldn’t understand my English or she just didn’t care and tried to get me out of there?
This is a very bad experience, a very bad customer service!!!!

Did not get my food because the staff decided that they didn’t feel like working I guess and locked the doors, blocked the drive through off, and didn’t put up any signage or turn mobile ordering off. Several other people tried to get their mobile orders at the same time and all just had to leave while there was an employee inside the restaurant on his cell phone, but couldn’t pick up the store phone or leave any kind of answer as to why they were closed down despite them being a 24 hour location.

We went to McDonald’s because the Google page said it was open 24 hours. We had traveled a long distance to get there, but unfortunately, when we arrived, the staff were inside and didn’t open the door or attend to us. It was disappointing, especially after coming from so far away.
