I remember going to the McDonald’s in Hudson on half days during my high school years when it was located in downtown Hudson, this was my first time at the new location and I will come back!

Online ordering is a mess. We thought we’d make it easy and order online so it could be all set when I get there since I was picking it up, after waiting in a long line of cars the person at the window asked me what I ordered. My friend placed the order so I couldn’t recall everything that was in it, don’t you have this information in front of you with the code I gave at the speaker? Person at the window was super confused so I pulled up what was in the order but I ended up being handed a bag of items that weren’t ours. I told the person at the window and she said “it’s fine, have a nice day” and closed the window. Massive line behind me and it wasn’t worth the battle so I drove off.
Granted the order had way more than what we ordered, but if I had to guess there was probably a mix up and our order was given to someone else and we received their order. They were probably pretty disappointed since it was a large order. I know from personal experience that things can hectic in fast food – I just don’t understand why the store isn’t prepared with the online orders that were made ahead of time. If you are going to be offering online ordering then you should be equipped to handle it and give folks the correct orders they made ahead of time. There was no care or effort from the staff to make things right, just gave me whatever to move onto the next customer.

Today I had a terrible experience at the McDonald’s located at 173 Washington Street, Hudson, MA. The soda machine was completely flat, none of the drinks had carbonation. I went to the counter to politely ask if I could get my drinks from the inside machine instead. I stood there for a long time while employees looked at me and never once asked how they could help. I called over a woman who appeared to be the manager three times and was completely ignored. The fourth time she looked at me, made a face, turned around, and continued what she was doing. That behavior was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Another employee came over and I asked him to please help with my drinks. He walked away and never returned with my drinks. After several minutes, he finally told me, “You have to wait,” in a very dismissive way, as if I didn’t matter at all. The lack of customer service was shocking. I will not be returning to this location. It is extremely disappointing to see employees who clearly do not care about customers. McDonald’s should seriously review the management and staff at this location.

I’ve only been to this McDonald’s twice, and among MA’s lower quality fast food industry (apparently), this one’s a real winner.
Would not recommend attempting to use rewards at this one, because they’ll just flat out not give it to you like they did on my order Thanksgiving night after my shift. That annoyed me so I decided last night I would use my rewards just to get a Big Mac and nothing else. They felt the need to make it all jumbled up. I had a beef patty on top, not a bun. I will not trust food made here. Not sure what’s to gain for these employees to be petty on the restaurant’s behalf (for no reason). At the end of the day trash employees make trash businesses. I will never return to this location.

They can be super slow at this location but the food is generally prepared correctly. They’re not overly polite but they’re not rude either. Just a decent McDonald’s.

Sunday morning we were headed out on a road trip. I stopped at the Hudson location to get two egg mcmuffins and 2 lg coffees. Agree we were on the highway we opened up our breakfast sandwiches and for they were cold and definitely not freshly made. $16 fur two sandwiches and two coffees. We won’t be back

I got charged $75.00 for 5 $15.00 gift cards. After they charged my credit card they could not produce the gift cards and refused to give me my money back. I have been back there 5 times since they screwed me on 10/26/2025 and I am still out my money. I have spoken to numerous managers there with no results, just a bunch of BS.They will not give me the owners telephone number and the owner will not call me. Terrible customer service. I guess I will contact the Attorney General and see if I can get my money back.
