Today’s my father’s birthday. Came here as he loves their pulled bbq sandwiches. Walked in and was rudely greeted with “we’re not ready, bout 30 more minutes” . I walked out! If your establishment opens at 11 and the door is open, then you need to be READY for business or change your opening time

Unbelievable. I was so excited to finally get to taste the food and it was so disappointing. I don’t understand how people love this food. The ribs, the main thing I came for were inedible and oversauced. Couldn’t take one bite. Fried chicken was old, oil and stale. The yams don’t have a bit of love cooked in them stringy and looked like baby food. I’m just in shock how the food was so old and not good. What a shame

Man serving the food had on no mask talking directly over the food. I asked for smothered chicken and got bbq chicken ( because he was talking instead of listening ). A roach literally crawled across the counter while paying for the food. The food was cold. And my cornbread had all of this weird black stuff all over.

Today I stopped in, ordered baked chicken and 2 side orders of collards. I usually get the ribs, but I wanted something different. Should have just stayed home! Chicken was not baked, it was cold and hard as a rock, looked like old fried chicken, then they put BBQ Sauce on it! WHY! I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS SIR. Collard greens were cold and not the usual. So disappointed… never again
